Backwater is my homebrew campaign I have been working on for some time. Based in Faerun, this campaign will put a new twist on what you know of current Faerun history and civilization.

Overview: Backwater a mercantile hub for travel, trade, and adventure. The Backwater is a cluster region of islands and channels discovered 50 years ago within the Trackless seas. Set within Faerun this new landmass has been transformed from unknown territory to a highly prized trading route for the whole of Faerun. Backwater attracts the wealthiest families, guilds & kingdoms to its shore. The region was quickly transformed into a bustling society of diplomats, pirates, and traders. Attractive to those seeking wealth, glory, or a new life. Backwater is a fresh start for all those ready to leave the realm of Faerun into uncharted territory.
