Unexperienced D&D Player Looking for Fun

The only D&D experience I have is with my own personal group where I had to learn to be a DM so I can enjoy playing D&D with an ENTIRE group of new players.
It's been stressful and every two weeks we meet and I'm constantly making adjustments to how d&d is supposed to play. (I am constantly learning rules and how things work) so I am on teacher mode.

Learning to play D&D more and more helps me out. So I'm looking for a group online to hang out with and joke around with (looking for Thursday Nights if possible).

My career, a corrections officer, does not allow me to enjoy many available nights for D&D except Thursdays-Saturdays.

So, if anyone is willing to take me along for a ride of fun campaigns, I'm down to practice role playing and learn any class available :)
