Hey guys. So I am wanting to make a pirate homebrew (still in early development) but want to be a player, so I am looking for a DM.
The game is going to be a balance between RP and combat, voices on discord, game on roll 20, and character sheets on dnd beyond (also will use beyond 20 for rolls). Max players of 6, including me, though I don't necessarily need specifically 6. As long as you know how to use roll20, any experience will do.
Right now, the basic story is that we (the players) are a band of factionless pirates that are out for 3 things: Powerful artifacts, men and towns to build a massive fleet of ships, and to find legendary creatures to slay. It takes place on an earth-like planet that is almost nothing but Islands and archipelagos, so ships are pretty much a given. I also want to eventually add in powerful factions that we either have to fight, do missions for, or get on our side. Other than that, towns, ports, and small island clusters are minor factions.
I plan to start this game on the 26th or the Saturday after that. I will handle looking for new players, as so far, it's only me and one other. Dm me if you need me to clarify.
