Tasked with a generational quest, ever fearing the return of Miska the Wolf-Spider, Haims and his kin search for the Rod of Seven Parts. Though troubled that he cannot return home until the Rod is reunited, he finds solace in his adventures.

Haims is a fairly social bird and enjoys good company, as these types flock together... but do not let his whistles of delight and meek chirps fool you, he is ever sharp and vigilant. He is a kestrel killer, a shadow in flight. If he's not raining bolts of fury down with aerial acrobatics, he's taking your gold pieces one taloned tossed of the die at a time. Even though he loves the sights, sounds and smells of the cities, mainly because that's where the money is (and sometimes artifacts... he is on a "quest" after all..), he loves every chance he gets to stretch his wings. Especially when adventuring with others, as he uses procuring dinner as an added excuse to fly.

Honing in on his skills as a rogue has helped in his search for the Rod of Seven Parts, allowing him access to otherwise restricted areas. His favorite rogue tactic is flying high enough to be mistaken for any other large bird, using his keen vision to scout his approach, he tucks in his wings and darts straight for his destination. And like all death-defying predatory dives, spreads his wings wide just before impact, producing a billowy WOOSH of up-thrust, allowing him to gently land, typically allowing him unnoticed access to towers and high walled areas.
