I'm looking to run Lost Mines of Phandelver with 5 PCs, who are hopefully in Hawaii (due to time zone issues) but will consider those on the West coast of the US. I'm looking to run games on Thursdays at 5:30PM (HST), and players should be willing to commit to about 6 sessions (weeks); levels 1-5. I'd like for players to not have had experience in this campaign, as it's my first time running it as well. I'm also more than happy to take the time to teach newer players. For the campaign, we will be using Discord for voice, D&DBeyond for character sheets, and Roll20 for maps and camera. If you're not completely savvy in these, that's perfectly fine, and will take the time in session 0 to get everyone on the same page.
A little about me: I'm in my early 30's and have been playing D&D for over 3 years and have been DMing for 2 of those years.
Requirements:
A working mic and camera are required (being able to see other's reactions and overall demeanor adds a lot to RP)
Willingness to play as a team and with the me, the DM. That being said, no evil or loner type characters.
Be chill and have fun WITH the other players and myself.
As for character creation, only the following sourcebooks will be allowed (and shared with you via D&Dbeyond): PHB, DMG, Volo's guide, Xanathar's Guide, and Tasha's Cauldron.
Please comment or message me and I'll happily reach out. Thanks for reading and happy gaming!
I'm interested to hear more; what day were you thinking of starting, and how long would game sessions be? Due to work schedule I won't have weekday evenings available until possibly January 7th. Myself I live in PST instead of HST.
I have a working mic and camera, I have zero experience as a player in D&D but I have been a DM for most of 2020. I'd be interested in playing frontline barbarian, a combat support role as a ranger, or utility/support as a wizard. My Discord is iconjuresomething#2451
