Long version: I'm an experienced GM in my 30s, looking for players interested in trying a play-by-post game in the Eberron campaign setting. I have not run play-by-post before, but with limited time in my schedule, it seems like an intriguing way to add some additional gaming to my days and weeks.

What I'm looking for:

• interest in the lore of the Eberron campaign setting -- you don't have to be an expert by any means, but some familiarity would be good, combined with a desire to learn more on your own
• competent writers willing to post 1-2 times per day -- a "post" means more than a single sentence, and though I'm not going to be a writing critic, I'll appreciate things like, you know, punctuation and adjectives
• interest in playing a story-driven, roleplay-focused game -- I like combat very much and it will absolutely be a key part of this game (you're adventurers, for crying out loud!), but especially for play-by-post, folks interested purely in the hack-and-slash won't be a good fit
• cooperative players committed to the "yes, and..." principle of improv / roleplay-gaming. This will not a PvP game at all. Alignment mismatches, bad decisions, shenanigans and conflicting opinions are 100% a part of the game, and they are even encouraged, but the players also have to commit, on a metagame level at least, to the idea that they are part of a team and that they want to be part of that team.
• Corollary: inclusive gaming is important to me, so I'll expect that players to be inclusive and respect diversity. Excellent resources on inclusivity and diversity in RPGing can be found here: https://www.dnd-compendium.com/dm-resources/accessibility-inclusion

• think of an idea for a level 1 character who makes sense in the Eberron campaign setting. This campaign will start in the city of Sharn and the party will form as part of the Clifftop Adventurer's Guild there. No elaborate backstory needed at this stage.

A caveat: I have no idea what sort of response I'll get, so if it takes me a bit to get back to you, be patient. All messages will get a response.
• I'm looking for approx. 5 players, and I'll wait at least 24-48 hours from original post before I start making decisions on party composition. In other words, reaching out ASAP is a good idea, but I'm not going to close this up the instant I hear back from 5 people.
