We are a group of three (2 players and a DM) looking for two more players to join our group. We play weekly on Fridays at 8:00 pm EST/EDT (GMT-5/GMT-4) for around 4 hours each session (ending on or after 12 pm EST/EDT).
How we play
We use D&D Beyond (obviously), along with Roll 20 as a VTT and Discord for communication. We play seriously, but also know how to laugh and have fun.
How our campaign is run
We play primarily in official D&D settings, primarily focused around Faerûn and the Swordcoast (centered on Waterdeep) but travel to other worlds/settings like Eberron, Ravnica, Wildemount, etc. Our DM primarily runs published adventures, but with a lot of added homebrew content and sometimes adapts published content into homebrew content. Also, the lore of the world is adhered to as much as possible (example Changelings and Kalashtar come from Eberron and back stories take this into account).
We also play in a persistent, shared world. Our DM runs two D&D groups, and both groups operate in the same world and sometimes have cross-over sessions where we play together (we recently finished one where we all went to Eberron, which was co-written and co-DM’d by one of our players). The actions of one group and their impact on the world can affect the other, in both directions. We have even established our own guild organization in the world that both groups run and participate in. We pay strict attention to dates and times, as a result.
Additionally, in our group, we are currently playing two different groups of characters, one party at level 12, and another at party 5. Both parties have interacted with each other and our higher-level characters are patrons, of a sort, for our lower-level characters. Lastly, our DM plays a full character in both parties (as he does in both groups he runs), which are unanimously accepted by the group, and are full-fledged, key members of the team.
Our Current parties
Our level 12 party consists of a male Half-elf Paladin/Warlock, male a Yuan-ti Cleric/Sorcerer and a female Changeling Rogue. Our level 5 party consists of a male Human Cleric/Wizard (young boy), a male Drow Fighter/Rogue and a female Tiefling Sorcerer.
What we are looking for in new players
Someone who really enjoys roleplay and social interaction (to the point that a session that consists of mostly RP can be completely enjoyable).
Likes developing back stories for their characters (doesn’t have to be complex) and have those back stories integrated into the campaign.
Prefer creating interesting characters with interesting personalities, character themes and flaws, rather than focusing on min-maxing.
You must be at least 20 years old (so we can have serious, mature discussions)
Wants to play as a member of a team, and is not focused on their own glory.
Interested in playing and having fun with an open, accepting group, without focus on politics or agendas.
How we will decide
We are looking for players who we feel like fits the most within our group. This means we are not going first come first serve and any replies that doesn’t address the questions below will not be considered.
When you reply, please provide answers to these questions:
Given the above, what is it about joining our group that interests you?
What do you personally bring to the (virtual) table?
What class would you be considering playing?
Are you a Lady or a Gentleman? (We currently have no ladies, but are definitely welcome; our DM’s other group has 3 wonderful ladies)
Bonus question: what are your thoughts on Critical Role?
We will talk with any selected candidates and, if you should be chosen, you will be on trial for the first few sessions. This applies both ways, so if things don’t work out, no harm no foul! All that is important is that everyone gets along and enjoys their time!
Given the above, what is it about joining our group that interests you? -- I am BRAND NEW..brand brand new...the grandest of new... and this seems like a group of people that could teach me what I need to know.
What do you personally bring to the (virtual) table? -- A fun student. Quick to learn, generally laid back and try to have as many smiles as possibles.
What class would you be considering playing? -- I was going through them and Warlock sounds fun, being brand new I can take on whatever role needs to be filled
Are you a Lady or a Gentleman? (We currently have no ladies, but are definitely welcome; our DM’s other group has 3 wonderful ladies) -- Gentleman
Bonus question: what are your thoughts on Critical Role? -- I enjoy it, great storytelling, full on commitment. Attention to details. Hilarious table. Maximizes the imagination.
We will talk with any selected candidates and, if you should be chosen, you will be on trial for the first few sessions. This applies both ways, so if things don’t work out, no harm no foul! All that is important is that everyone gets along and enjoys their time!
Given the above, what is it about joining our group that interests you? / well you all seem like a lot of fun. I love a group that plays to the realism in high fantasy it keeps the stakes high and is more Immersive! I’d love to give it a shot!/
What do you personally bring to the (virtual) table? / well I have been playing D&D for 12 years now, and until this year nearly all that time has been as a DM. So I know the Intricacies of the process and can appreciate the value of team work and group story telling. Along side my time playing, creating NPCs for so long I have found a talent for making deep and entertaining characters./
What class would you be considering playing? /potentially a wizard, or an artificer.... still not sure!/
Are you a Lady or a Gentleman? (We currently have no ladies, but are definitely welcome; our DM’s other group has 3 wonderful ladies) / I am a 27 year old male/
Bonus question: what are your thoughts on Critical Role? / I love Critical Role! I am a huge fan. Their commitment to true role playing and story telling is legendary; something every player should strive to achieve. There has been a slight surge of people who think they are poisoning the experience but I don’t buy into that, it’s a collective effort to pull off a good game so expecting the DM to do all the work and “be Matt Mercer” is unrealistic and unachievable; as players we have to invest as much as the DM./
You all sound like a really fun group I would love the chance to chat. If you’d like you can reach me on discord at Greendragon420#0862
Hello, my name is John. I thought I already sent a msg but I think I deleted it by mistake, I am 34 years old and would love to play some DnD with you. I am guy. I have not played the DnD 10 years so I currently don't know what Critical Role Means. I will take a guess in that it means a character plays a critical (necessary) part in the campaign. If I am correct then I have no problem with that I look forward to hearing back from you I'm playing a rogue if that's okay I did see that you have a rogue already so if you want me to make a different character with a different class that's fine
Given the above, what is it about joining our group that interests you?
• My favourite part of DnD is the roleplay aspect, also y'all just sound like a fun group.
What do you personally bring to the (virtual) table?
• I like to think I'm funny, but I also like making interesting characters and encouraging character friendships.
What class would you be considering playing?
• I like to play magic users, so probably a druid or a wizard because I'm more familiar with those classes.
Are you a Lady or a Gentleman?
• I am neither actually. Is this group lgbtqia+ friendly?
Bonus question: what are your thoughts on Critical Role?
• I've started listening to it like three times and getting distracted. I am vaguely familiar with the characters and some of the story, although for DnD podcasts I'm more of a TAZ fan.
Hi, my name is Carl, I'm a 38-year-old guy and I've only been playing for about two years but I currently DM two campaigns and I'm looking for a place to be a PC :)
Given the above, what is it about joining our group that interests you?
I love that maturity, RP and backstories are key qualities for your group. I love to develop an interesting character and watch them grow. I may never have played a character that was "optimal" (one favorite was a lizardfolk bard who was obsessed with mammals)
What do you personally bring to the (virtual) table?
I bring enthusiasm, focus, commitment to story and to everyone's fun, good(ish) jokes, very original characters, a respectful play style, and photos of my new kitten, Clawdia.
What class would you be considering playing?
I love druids and would be excited to play one of the new druids from Tasha's. I'd also be interested in playing a goblin barbarian
Are you a Lady or a Gentleman? (We currently have no ladies, but are definitely welcome; our DM’s other group has 3 wonderful ladies)
I am a gentleman
Bonus question: what are your thoughts on Critical Role?
I am addicted to the story but can't justify watching for four hours every week, so I keep up via the Critical Recap posts on their website. I joined during the second campaign so I don't know much of the first, but in the second my favorite characters are Caleb and Jester. Controversial opinion: I like Not the goblin more than Veth the halfling.
We will talk with any selected candidates and, if you should be chosen, you will be on trial for the first few sessions. This applies both ways, so if things don’t work out, no harm no foul! All that is important is that everyone gets along and enjoys their time!
Thanks for your post. My name is Ethan. I posted looking for a group on Friday and this sounds exactly what I was looking for. Please let me know if anything sounds of interest to you. My discord is dnkykng00#7800.
Given the above, what is it about joining our group that interests you?
I like how you put an emphasis on storytelling and character development. The fact that your DM builds within and adheres to the established worlds and lore if great for me. Are you looking to add a third party to the two that are ongoing? What is the player level or general premise that this group would add to the others?
What do you personally bring to the (virtual) table?
I would enjoy the chance to dive into the role-playing of a character with others and the long-term narrative growth as they interact. I have some experience in martial arts and love bringing that into the story-telling of combat. In non-combat scenarios, I like to have fun but would also enjoy diving into deeper emotional stories.
What class would you be considering playing?
I have a concept of a Dragonborn War Domain Cleric name Caiman Calliomoloch that suffers from a bloodline curse causing his family to lose their draconic powers. this loss results in them being cast out of the clan. Through learning of Bahamut, he strikes out in search for a higher calling in order to regain his ancestral draconic powers. I would love the chance to explore this character further through role-playing. If this idea jazzes with your campaign, please let me know.
Are you a Lady or a Gentleman? (We currently have no ladies, but are definitely welcome; our DM’s other group has 3 wonderful ladies)
Bonus question: what are your thoughts on Critical Role?
I've enjoyed listening to critical role and will occasionally watch an episode when it is uploaded to their Youtube for the chance to see the environments and combats that Matt puts together for them. I primarily only followed them since they start the Mighty Nein, and only over the holidays started to listen to their Vox Machina series. What I like most about the series the voices and story-telling that they provide. The way that they interact with other characters seems natural and I love that Matt forces consequences for the choices that they make.
Given the above, what is it about joining our group that interests you? Level 5 group
What do you personally bring to the (virtual) table? I have played D&D for over 20 years and I currently play in 3 game at the moment, I have played all the editions of D&D
What class would you be considering playing? a female tabaxi bard or a wood elf druid
Are you a Lady or a Gentleman? (We currently have no ladies, but are definitely welcome; our DM’s other group has 3 wonderful ladies) I am a gentleman
Bonus question: what are your thoughts on Critical Role? its entertaining to watch but it gives D&D a high expectation on everything but it also shows how to develop a character and group with a group and share the spot light
Given the above, what is it about joining our group that interests you? I made a character that I have been dying to use and I believe that she will be a great addition to the party. I am still fairly new, but I am a really fast learner!
What do you personally bring to the (virtual) table? I am someone with a very active imagination so roleplaying to the max would not be an issue, I'm a bit shy at first, but once I get into the groove there is no telling what is coming out of my mouth. With the character i have created, she has a very bold personality so she is definitely great to play with.
What class would you be considering playing? She is a Fire Genasi Bloodhunter
Are you a Lady or a Gentleman? I am a lady and I am also 20
Bonus question: what are your thoughts on Critical Role? A friend of mine watches it and I have watched a few videos with him, it is definitely interesting watching people go into depth and great lengths for the characters/campaigns. It actually inspires me to try and become better at playing
1. Given the above, what is it about joining our group that interests you?- Its been a while since i've had a really good party that is extremly fun with the role play! I love to roleplay and creating stories is just the funnest thing to me!
2. What do you personally bring to the (virtual) table- A few years of dnd experience as both a dm and as a player. I am also quite happy to play whatever role is needed in a game, I love not only working on my own story, but helping the other members with theirs!
3. What class would you be considering playing?- My personal choice would be a rogue half elf (barber as background) or as a Sorcerer Eladrin
Are you a Lady or Gentleman? I am a Gentleman that is 24
Bonus question: what are your thoughts on Critical role?- A dnd game like any other with some very deep themes and also years of acting and improv. Good? yes. Something to strive for? It depends on what the party is looking for. But it is quite the task to even come close to some acting notes in this show, so to be proud and enjoy the company of others is quite more important, and love the quirks of the party you are in, and not envy the connections of another group
Given the above, what is it about joining our group that interests you? You seem like a really fun group to play with and I like the idea that the different groups can influence each other.
What do you personally bring to the (virtual) table? I have played D&D before however I still lack experience since my parties never last that long. I love creative problem solving and finding unique solutions to the situations you are faced with in D&D, overall I am a giant nerd!
What class would you be considering playing? I would really like the chance to either play a monk or I have an idea for a homebrew Voodoo Priestess/Shaman with cleric/necromancer but I am willing to look at different options
Are you a Lady or a Gentleman? (We currently have no ladies, but are definitely welcome; our DM’s other group has 3 wonderful ladies) Lady
Bonus question: what are your thoughts on Critical Role? I absolutely love Critical Role! I have only watched half of their first campaign but am all caught up on their current campaign along with most of their one shots. My favorite character so far is Jester, however Beau is a close second. Their ability to get into character is amazing and their storytelling is a high bar to live up to.
I am not sure if you are still looking for players, but I am a 33 male that does not actually speak French (I Googled that). You guys sound like a great group of people that I might like to help me pop my tabletop cherry. I am familiar with the basics of game play but I have yet to find a group to begin a campaign with. I have some amateur acting experience and enjoy embodying new characters. I currently have two characters prepped with backstories, a male halfling warrior and a female gnome rogue. I have ideas for new characters that I am still trying to suss out, such as a human sorcerer with a comical background that I am trying to figure out the mechanics of how the character would function. I enjoy Critical Role and they way that they play off of each others characters. I like that they are not afraid to fail and even give themselves disadvantage according to their characters. I also enjoy listening to TAZ, but sometimes they can get a little heavy handed. Look forward to your response.
Hello, I am very interested in being a potential candidate for your group
I LOVE the idea that you play 2 parties in the same world and they cross and interact with each other, I've never played that aspect before and it seems really cool
I've been playing DnD/ other Roleplay games for about 8 years, I have a deep and vast understanding of the rules and I have the basic and common courtesy of not interrupting or cross talking (I know how annoying that can be especially on microphones)
I like to play filler roles, I enjoy rounding out a team composition and I'm flexible on anything I play
I am a Gentleman
I'm a BIG fan of Critical Role, I watched their very first episode that was live on Geek and Sundry and have it watched it ever since, watching has actually in my opinion helped me with developing and playing out characters
Given the above, what is it about joining our group that interests you?
I have been trying to find a group to play with for weeks now. I wanted to play with a bunch of fun people on Fridays or weekends in my time zone. I have never played in official campaigns before. Mostly just homebrew stuff my friends have concocted while bored in class.
What do you personally bring to the (virtual) table?
I have been playing for about two years now
I love creating new stories and creative ways to solve problems in-game (creative writing minor)
I am a college art student that loves to create worlds in my head.
When I play I get into it. If I'm a bard I sing, cleric I pray.
What class would you be considering playing?
I have this really cool bard that I have been dying to play for a while now.
I tend to play more caster-based classes (druid, cleric)
Although I've never really played any other classes, I'm willing to try them.
Are you a Lady or a Gentleman? (We currently have no ladies, but are definitely welcome; our DM’s other group has 3 wonderful ladies)
I am lady.
Bonus question: what are your thoughts on Critical Role?
I love critical role! I starting watching them a few months ago to listen to while I work on my art. I love the way that they play more for the story than building stats and wracking kills.
You sound like a great group, I'd love to be considered.
Given the above, what is it about joining our group that interests you?
I love storytelling and roleplaying. Combat is fun but I prefer to build relationships with other characters and weave a collectively imagined world into existence. Some of my players are good at this and others not so much. I think it would be awesome to work with an entire team of like-minded folks who all have a deep interest in stories.
What do you personally bring to the (virtual) table?
I"ve been DMing three homebrew heavy campaigns a week for three years now so I have a lot of experience crafting stories, creating memorable NPCs and fleshing out unique settings. I'm naturally generous in my play style, always looking to support someone else if they are having a moment in the spotlight. I pay attention to my co-player's motives, actions and emotions so I can play off them. I actually enjoy OTHER people's story arcs, not just my own. I'm easy-going, hard to offend and fun-loving. Also, I do accents (badly - my dwarfs morph between Scottish and Irish, my elves could be French or Russian or maybe Israeli and everybody else is part Cockney, part Australian. It requires some suspension of disbelief but it's totally worth it.
What class would you be considering playing?
I would be willing to play any class at all but I naturally lean towards druids, rangers and barbarians (in that order). I have tons of NPCs I could adapt to any campaign though and I've played almost all classes. The only one I didn't enjoy much was the fighter... a little too vanilla for me.
Are you a Lady or a Gentleman? (We currently have no ladies, but are definitely welcome; our DM’s other group has 3 wonderful ladies)
I'm a lady (with limited mystique though). 49 years young (in case that matters). Most of my players/friends are in their 30s. I never had kids so I haven't grown up.
Bonus question: what are your thoughts on Critical Role?
I find it captivating. I've rewatched season 1 three times. I cried all three times. I even rewatched the shopping episodes. My husband is certain I've lost my mind. He could be right. It's also where I learned most of what I know about dnd. I'm friends with a few old schoolers who absolutely hate the show -I suppose that means it has changed their beloved dnd in some tangible way they find unacceptable. I started watching it about six months after joining my first campaign as a player so I can't relate to their sense of loss. But I know how change can feel sometimes, especially changes to something you hold sacred. In my own DM role I aspire to be as empathetic, honest and immersive as Matt Mercer. I'd like to play like Travis Willingham though. He's one of the most unselfish players I've ever seen and he's funny to boot. Also, if Laura ever leaves him I'm available.
We will talk with any selected candidates and, if you should be chosen, you will be on trial for the first few sessions. This applies both ways, so if things don’t work out, no harm no foul! All that is important is that everyone gets along and enjoys their time!
Combat by trial. Neat. I get it, sounds reasonable. My first name is Brandis (rhymes with Candace). Here is my Discord if you want to talk further: stracdaddy#4548
Given the above, what is it about joining our group that interests you? I love the idea of shared worlds with two different groups. I'm also always interested in groups that lean more towards group building, rping and just being a team altogether... But also having fun. I like to take the game serious, but I also like to have fun.
What do you personally bring to the (virtual) table? I love RPing, puzzles and keeping things light and fun in a non chaotic way. I do also enjoy combat as a secondary. I'm also old hat to TTRPGs. I've DM'd a few myself, and been a player a couple of times. I'm all about team work, and friendliness, at the end of the day this is a game that everyone should enjoy and feel included in. I'm also a writer/artist by day so background stories, interesting characters are one of my strengths.
What class would you be considering playing? I love play bards, or clerics, or druids. I like playing support and healer more than anything.
Are you a Lady or a Gentleman? I'm a lady, but I'm not intimidated by a group of boys. I'm the only girl in a family of four so it's just like a family reunion.
Bonus question: what are your thoughts on Critical Role? While I do like it, I never expect a campaign I'm in to be like that. But gosh to I love everyone rpings in their characters and doing voices, and just the characters in general.
Given the above, what is it about joining our group that interests you?
I like the idea of an evolving world that is influenced by player actions, even if they aren't your own. And in being a part of that world.
What do you personally bring to the (virtual) table?
I don't bring much more than any other player, really. I play my characters as their own personalities with their own stories, I simply want to experience those stories in a living world and the journeys and friendships they make along the way.
What class would you be considering playing?
Honestly, I don't often prefer higher level games as It feels like I miss the adventure of getting to those levels, and without an idea of where and when I'd be entering the picture I can't say for certain who I'd be. I've some ideas but they're all based on an assumption of where I'd be coming in. Though a rough first idea would be a nature Cleric.
Are you a Lady or a Gentleman? (We currently have no ladies, but are definitely welcome; our DM’s other group has 3 wonderful ladies)
Gentleman, roughly. Discord is Gilraen Bior#6175
Bonus question: what are your thoughts on Critical Role?
I have no thoughts on that series as I've not seen it. Haven't really had an interest in seeing it, either. It may be the 'hit thing' at the moment but I've not really held much light to chasing trends.
We will talk with any selected candidates and, if you should be chosen, you will be on trial for the first few sessions. This applies both ways, so if things don’t work out, no harm no foul! All that is important is that everyone gets along and enjoys their time!
More than fair. New members to a community should always be scrutinized to keep drama from fomenting.
Given the above, what is it about joining our group that interests you? I have been playing for a couple years and published settings with added homebrew are where i have had the most fun, and i like the idea of having a fun time mixed with rp, gameplay, and bs'ing with friends
What do you personally bring to the (virtual) table? I am more of a jokester but i pretty much run the board of rp, i try to make atypical characters, though i often end up in one of three places, semi edgy anti hero, loose cannon, or a weird warlock. I like the idea of trying different things more so than having a formula character i often go to.
What class would you be considering playing? I have a homebrew idea of a gun play fighter i got from the site, and that character is fun to me, but really i have too many ideas too list, its more narrowing which of them i would commit to playing.
Are you a Lady or a Gentleman? (We currently have no ladies, but are definitely welcome; our DM’s other group has 3 wonderful ladies) I am a gentleman but i get along with everyone in my opinion, i dont mind being the minority or majority. And though you didnt ask i offer this information, I'm 22, not easily offended, and happy to make friends, my worst quality in my opinion is being a chatterbox.
Bonus question: what are your thoughts on Critical Role? Not a watcher but i adore Matt Mercer and alot of his ideas, very creative imo.
We will talk with any selected candidates and, if you should be chosen, you will be on trial for the first few sessions. This applies both ways, so if things don’t work out, no harm no foul! All that is important is that everyone gets along and enjoys their time! Happy to honor the process, my discord is Chicken'n'Winnigish#6969 Should you be interested.
Given the above, what is it about joining our group that interests you?
The overlap of the parties is intriguing, as well as the levels they're both at, and especially the hopping between worlds. I can't speak to player dynamics from just this, and it can be daunting to try and slide into an established group, but the mutual trial period is a pretty good idea!
What do you personally bring to the (virtual) table?
While I am new to d&d, I bring several years of text-based rp experience and improv classes to the table, the occasional halfway decent accent, and the ability to Commit to the Bit. Overly involved backstories that leave hooks open for the DM to incorporate, vivid personalities, and a tendency towards making a fun and whole character over minmaxing is my jam - to be honest, in most things I don't even know how minmaxing is accomplished. I'm a little timid at first, but once I'm fully in and vibing I am in.
What class would you be considering playing?
Looking at the lists for each one, the first thing that I think of for both is maybe a more martial class to try and help balance out the magic user to fighting with weapons up close, so maybe barbarian or monk? Druid has also crossed my mind, as I have a grave cleric/circle of spores druid who could provide some extra support. Ranger/bard was also a character I have in my pocket that I've considered. Really I have more ideas than I know what to do with and would be happy to present quick pitches of a small handful of characters to see who might gel the best. Among the above classes I mentioned, I have a lightfoot halfling, hill dwarf, forest gnome, and earth genasi I could put forward.
Are you a Lady or a Gentleman? (We currently have no ladies, but are definitely welcome; our DM’s other group has 3 wonderful ladies)
Lady. And I am 23.
Bonus question: what are your thoughts on Critical Role?
I will admit that it was my gateway to d&d. My friend got into it at a point when their job involved long periods of sitting there doing almost nothing and was allowed to watch things, they dragged me down as well, and in the time since I have become more familiar with the game itself outside of any particular show or podcast - I have sampled a few others. Does this mean I'm more intimately familiar with Wildemount than any other campaign settings right now? Yep. But does this mean I'm expecting that kind of experience? nah.
We will talk with any selected candidates and, if you should be chosen, you will be on trial for the first few sessions. This applies both ways, so if things don’t work out, no harm no foul! All that is important is that everyone gets along and enjoys their time!
Hello adventurers,
We are a group of three (2 players and a DM) looking for two more players to join our group.
How we will decide
We are looking for players who we feel like fits the most within our group. This means we are not going first come first serve and any replies that doesn’t address the questions below will not be considered.
When you reply, please provide answers to these questions:
We look forward to your responses.
Hey! Are you still looking for players?
You all sound like a really fun group I would love the chance to chat. If you’d like you can reach me on discord at Greendragon420#0862

Thanks for your post. My name is Ethan. I posted looking for a group on Friday and this sounds exactly what I was looking for. Please let me know if anything sounds of interest to you. My discord is dnkykng00#7800.
Given the above, what is it about joining our group that interests you? Level 5 group
What do you personally bring to the (virtual) table? I have played D&D for over 20 years and I currently play in 3 game at the moment, I have played all the editions of D&D
What class would you be considering playing? a female tabaxi bard or a wood elf druid
Are you a Lady or a Gentleman? (We currently have no ladies, but are definitely welcome;
our DM’s other group has 3 wonderful ladies) I am a gentleman
Bonus question: what are your thoughts on Critical Role? its entertaining to watch but it gives D&D a high expectation on everything but it also shows how to develop a character and group with a group and share the spot light
Heyo! Jeriff here!
You seem like a really fun group to play with and I like the idea that the different groups can influence each other.
I have played D&D before however I still lack experience since my parties never last that long. I love creative problem solving and finding unique solutions to the situations you are faced with in D&D, overall I am a giant nerd!
I would really like the chance to either play a monk or I have an idea for a homebrew Voodoo Priestess/Shaman with cleric/necromancer but I am willing to look at different options
Lady
I absolutely love Critical Role! I have only watched half of their first campaign but am all caught up on their current campaign along with most of their one shots. My favorite character so far is Jester, however Beau is a close second. Their ability to get into character is amazing and their storytelling is a high bar to live up to.
Bonjour messieurs!!
You sound like a great group, I'd love to be considered.
I love storytelling and roleplaying. Combat is fun but I prefer to build relationships with other characters and weave a collectively imagined world into existence. Some of my players are good at this and others not so much. I think it would be awesome to work with an entire team of like-minded folks who all have a deep interest in stories.
I would be willing to play any class at all but I naturally lean towards druids, rangers and barbarians (in that order). I have tons of NPCs I could adapt to any campaign though and I've played almost all classes. The only one I didn't enjoy much was the fighter... a little too vanilla for me.
I'm a lady (with limited mystique though). 49 years young (in case that matters). Most of my players/friends are in their 30s. I never had kids so I haven't grown up.
Combat by trial. Neat. I get it, sounds reasonable. My first name is Brandis (rhymes with Candace). Here is my Discord if you want to talk further: stracdaddy#4548
I like the idea of an evolving world that is influenced by player actions, even if they aren't your own. And in being a part of that world.
I don't bring much more than any other player, really. I play my characters as their own personalities with their own stories, I simply want to experience those stories in a living world and the journeys and friendships they make along the way.
Gentleman, roughly. Discord is Gilraen Bior#6175
I have no thoughts on that series as I've not seen it. Haven't really had an interest in seeing it, either. It may be the 'hit thing' at the moment but I've not really held much light to chasing trends.
More than fair. New members to a community should always be scrutinized to keep drama from fomenting.
I have been playing for a couple years and published settings with added homebrew are where i have had the most fun, and i like the idea of having a fun time mixed with rp, gameplay, and bs'ing with friends
I am more of a jokester but i pretty much run the board of rp, i try to make atypical characters, though i often end up in one of three places, semi edgy anti hero, loose cannon, or a weird warlock. I like the idea of trying different things more so than having a formula character i often go to.
I have a homebrew idea of a gun play fighter i got from the site, and that character is fun to me, but really i have too many ideas too list, its more narrowing which of them i would commit to playing.
I am a gentleman but i get along with everyone in my opinion, i dont mind being the minority or majority. And though you didnt ask i offer this information, I'm 22, not easily offended, and happy to make friends, my worst quality in my opinion is being a chatterbox.
Not a watcher but i adore Matt Mercer and alot of his ideas, very creative imo.
Happy to honor the process, my discord is Chicken'n'Winnigish#6969 Should you be interested.
