A rare chance to get in at the start of campaign

We are a small friendly group and space has become available for 2 players to join us when we start our new campaign in about about two weeks time. The party has a wizard and a druid so far, so could probably do with some muscle and stealth.

After you finish Dragon of Icespire peak with us we will play on through the expansion modules using the same characters, the modules are Storm Lord’s Wrath, Sleeping Dragon’s Wake and Divine Contention. By the end everyone should have gone from level 2 up to level 13... if you don't die along the way, mwuhaha!

What we are looking for in a player:

• commitment to turn up for the game and stick to the end of the campaign
• someone who wants to invest in the idea of a developing a shared story and setting
• someone prepared to do a bit of prep with me up front on character creation, backstory etc
• someone who has played at least a couple of times before
• someone who likes a balance of role-play combat and exploration
• someone who is prepared to very occasionally DM one shots to give me a break and spice things up (the other players also do this so you will only have to do it very rarely)

What we are NOT looking for:

• anyone under 18
• anyone who is more interested in having a laugh than playing the game (we do have a laugh, I just have been in groups before where the focus seemed to be more on telling knob jokes than playing)
• anyone who is going to try and dominate the game rather than be a team player
• anyone who is racist homophobic or any other thing like that

I'm a newer player, and am in one ongoing game on Sundays. I'm in the US, -5 EST time zone, but Thursdays are my day off so I can work with pretty much any time slot or time zone on those days.

I used to play a bit of 3.5 back in college, but have been out of the game for a bit. I love learning new tricks and getting to meet new folks, though, so if you're patient with me I'm more than happy to learn and work on things. I'm also open to the idea of running one shots, but hope there would be enough of a heads up so I can prepare; It's been a looooong time since I've taken the DM seat, though my past experience was with one shots as it was.
