I have been a big fan of RPGS all my life and fantasy so when I went down the rabbit hole of D&D I was shocked I was late to the party. I am fairly new to TTRPGS having only played a session or two of a one shot years and years ago, However now I fully want to jump down this hobby and am looking for games. I would prefer something that will fall into a larger campaign with a steady group but I will take a one shot if I can get it lol. The group would also have to be okay with me being fairly knew and maybe not the most experienced when it comes to in game RP and having to ask some questions.

This will start as a play by post/text with voice chats, eventually moving to Roll20 as the game progresses.
The entire campaign will eventually have 6-8 people, but start in groups of 1-3.
You awaken to darkness and a raging tempest of winds in a cold cavern. You’re alone, confused, and entirely without a memory of your own. How did you get to this place? And how are you going to get out?
