Game style: very roleplay-focussed and character-driven, minimal combat, generally lighthearted with room for angst and emotional scenes

Hello adventurers!

As the title states, I'm an Australian DM looking for some players to join an existing party. We've been playing together since last year and are looking to expand our party after some player departures. Due to current player ages we're looking for people who are 21+, and you must be fully LGBTQ+ friendly. The game is set in a homebrew world and is kind of a sandbox at the moment, so if you're looking for something fast-paced or combat-oriented this isn't the game for you. However it might be the game for you if you want to create a well-rounded character (with a not too tragic or edgy backstory) who will have their backstory explored in game and who will join an adventuring party full of fun, supportive people (both the characters and the players).

Pretty curious on this. I'm from aus so time wise is all good for me. had a few questions to ask:

what kind of world is it ie fantasy, steampunk, sci fi etc?
you mentioned it has been running for a bit, what is the planned starting level for the joining players?
what is the level cap you see being reached?
how are you planning for stats to be done eg rolling, etc?
any limitations with class or race at all either game wise or world lore wise?
