D&D Podcast Looking For a New Player

Ahoy! Aye, be Captain Red Hand. The Dungeon Master for the Legends of Osiria podcast. (Available on all music streaming platforms) We run a Heavy RP Homebrew High Seas campaign that we record and publish as podcast episodes. The reason for this post is, as you may have guessed, we are looking for a new player. One of our starting players has been given a fantastic career opportunity and has sadly had to resign their role due to schedule conflicts.  Nevertheless, we are all proud of him and wish him the best of luck. Now onto the details of the application:

Date and Time: We play weekly on Mondays at 4:30 pm (PST)

Duration: We play/record for about 3 hours a session

 Player requirements: must have access to a decent to good quality headset or microphone, must have decent internet, and must be able to make the sessions on a regular basis. Must be LGBTQ+ friendly. The preferred age range is in the 20s but the perfect match won't be turned away for age. But most of the group is in the 18-28 age group.

Role Needed: We are looking for someone to play the Tank role/Martial Class. Every other player is a spellcaster or sneak based. 

Extra: any other skills you might have that pertain to being applied to the Podcast Post -Production process will stand out.

I made account less than a minute ago just to comment on here. I'm not sure if you're looking for brand new players, but I haven't actually been able to start a campaign before, although I would really love to!! Twice before me and a few friends started something before they all fell apart again. Never got past the character creation phase :')

This sounds like so much fun! A pirate-themed campaign sounds absolutely sick, and I already have a character in mind that I could use for something like this. (I am 18 by the way, 19 in two months or so.)

Hey, I’m MarcQuestion! They/them, ace, and aspiring streamer/youtuber in the PST. I am still working on the technicals when it comes to recording and have an interest in podcasting; i should have decent recording equipment already with a vested interest in upgrading as i go.
I can't work weekends, which has made finding a cool lgbt group that works with my schedule a challenge, but I am absolutely available all Monday-Thursday.

I’m 30, chill as hell and am a writer/artist in the rare times that I write or draw, specializing in digital art, character design, and making more characters than i know what to do with. I like to think of myself as an adult space goth, a pun aficionado, and am quite the sillybilly.
For DND, I’ve only played 5e and while I’ve technically played for a few years, the sessions have been pretty few and far between.
I am currently burned out on spellcasters and am looking forward to trying a beefier character for once.

Btw, the art nouveau vibe on the gorgeous character portraits is excellent, though i would be lying if i said that "The Kraken Barrel" wasn't my favorite thing about this so far.[only starting the first episode now, so i have high hopes that this gem will get bested along the way]
