We are a play-by-post server on Discord that is open to all members (LGBTQ2S+) that are at or above the age of 18 years. The community is largely character-driven, as people move about the world of Chaos Rising interacting with PCs and NPCs alike. Chance encounters are available so long as our team of mods and admins (who all run combat) are available to establish an encounter for you. Over 100 members call this server the home for their characters and we would love for you to be part of it.

Some of the Rules/Important Info:

• We use the Avrae bot for dice rolls. No exceptions. There is also a bot command for gold tracking.
• Stat roll rules are 4d6 drop lowest, reroll 1's and 2's.
• This is an 18+ server. There will be NSFW content on this server so we require all members to be 18 years of age or older.
• Out-of-character discrimination or threats are not tolerated at all.
• Consent must be given by other players if you are engaging in roleplay of a sexual nature.
• No griefing of other players.
• Nothing of a sexual nature will be tolerated if it involves a minor.

Perks and bonuses of the server:

• You can have up to 4 playable characters.
• If you have a homebrew race, subrace, class, subclass, or item ideas - send it to the mods and admins of the server. We'll review it and if it seems good - we can approve it, but changes may apply.
• XP is awarded weekly to players for their roleplay, not just combat. The amount of XP awarded varies depending upon a character's actions.
• This is a 24/7 server. We mainly operate off of U.S./North American Central Time, but there is usually a staff member or two online to help you kill an elusive monster in the woods or fill your tankard at the local tavern!
• We have a bot that will give your characters custom Discord avatars - that way people can tell when you are speaking in and out of character more easily.

You would need Discord, yes. Combat is run as theatre of the mind, we just ask people to narrate their movement and such during combat scenarios. Once you join, we can walk you through what needs to be done.

Hi Njett, that is no problem. We can teach you what you need to know. All the mods and admins will give you the basics on how to set up your character, as well as some of the basic command functions for rolling dice

Hello everyone, you can join our server CHAOS RISING. Once you get there, we can get you started on the rules and making a character (Level 1, using a sheet on DnDBeyond). If there are any more questions, we can answer them on the server. Don't worry about being a beginner - we'll get you started on what you need to know.

Hello Joel, I was wondering if I might be able to join the server and observe before participating directly within the games and post. I am very new but would love to join a large server. I also only really have one character that is well fleshed out.

That's no problem. Just let us know that it's you once you join the server and we can give you a tag to monitor one of the more active sections of the server. If there are any other questions that you have, please let me know.

Links are dead, guessing they were set up for a limited amount of time or limited use. or Discord is messed up again all seem plausible.

Also what is your servers take on Tasha's and UA content? (asking because a reborn phantom sounds fun)
