Beginner Player looking to dive into new game

I have tried playing dnd with my friends but since we were all new i volunteered to DM, since no one knew what they were doing, and it was a disaster. I want to join a group so i can learn the ropes, and dive head first. I am so ready its ridiculous.

I have played a few sessions in the official Adventurers' League and am looking at running the Lost Mines of Phandelver Starter Set.  We would use Discord and Fantasy Grounds for online play.  I was looking at Wednesday or Friday evening probably.  There are pre-gen characters so you wouldn't have to worry about character creation.  Let me know if you are interested.
