Right. See, the point is that Dndbeyond has chosen to create this other team instead of investing in their core service. It isn't that I want them to reassign people. But they have chosen where to allocate and build resources. And, unsurprisingly, it is to allocate more resources to short term revenue increases rather than addressing the shortfalls of their actual core service.
This is because doing otherwise would hurt their short term income AND they would have to acknowledge that there are things they are not doing well. Neither of those are things that their corporate structure is well suited to do.
Lots of other companies work on the same model: bury real user input through structured feedback designed to produce positive survey results biased towards short term profitable outcomes, 'innovate' to justify increasing sub departments budgets instead of resolving existing issues, and avoid ever acknowledging failures to protect individual members of the corporate structure. Comcast is a good example. I don't like Comcast.

Yeah, and I worked for Comcast for 7.5 years and I can say as god given facts that they absolutely do resolve issues, fix infrastructure and listen to user complaints. I left on bad terms, hate the management I worked with and can still recognize that.
I can also recognize that if Comcast didn't continue to innovate by buying NBCUniversal, develop a cable platform from the ground up with their X1 system, buy Sky, etc? They wouldn't be around to compete today. It takes all of the moving parts of an organization to keep an organization afloat. The front page articles to drive clicks, the sales to drive revenue, the perks to keep people subscribed, etc. It takes EVERYTHING.
I've been amazingly critical of D&D Beyond, but I'm also going to give them a fair shake. The fact that SO many people complain about the sub perks being late show they ARE something people want. The people that people complained about James Hacek's front page articles, and then complained when he WASNT writing them show that the front page content matters. Shit, Joe used his personal twitter account to try and advertise creatives to write front page content and PAY people to do it.
If all this site was just the content builder and nothing else? It'd have failed. I'm 100% convinced in that.
D&DBeyond certainly has a lot of shortcomings and, considering how insane their revenue is, are moving at a snail's pace.
I wish they'd work with the devs of AboveVTT to offer a virtual tabletop embedded into the site. This could swpie the floor with Roll20 (for dnd) in an instant.
On your character sheet, click on the Manage button next to your character's name. When the manage pane opens, click on the Change Sheet Appearance button. Then scroll down to frames and they are at the bottom of the list of frames.
I suppose that's all a matter of opinion. Beauty is all in the Eye of the Beholder after all. If you are a paid subscriber I'm certain they are available to you.

Tomorrow is the first Tuesday of the month. Will the subscriber perks be announced? place your bets now.
I have faith in them, I think they've been catching up after the holidays and are now ready to release on a regular schedule on the right day. Come on Beyond team I know you can do it.

I care about the sub perks. I’m here checking to see what they are and no sign of them yet 😬
You guys really devote a lot of energy into the least important part of being a subscriber.

It’s spring themed portrait frames. Kind of fun.

If you go look at the subscription information page it shows the new perks. That’s the only place I’ve seen them, no idea if they’re “unlocked” yet
They are active for me.
Fatti non foste a viver come bruti ma per seguir virtute e canoscenza
I still haven't received March perks :(
I got an email earlier this week saying we got the frames and I have them in my selections. Not sure why you may not have them.

The hideous things aren't available to me either.

I couldn't care less about subscriber perks...
You keep all of the perks as long as you are subscribed. Next month you will get new perks but these will still be usable.
