She mutters a word and you can see many of her wounds heal up .  Healing word 6.  

Her eyes are hardened now, staring at  Thiago, no trace of her earlier sadness.  

Thiago looks like the neutral face emoji.

“Thots better.  No hard feelins mates.   We gots enough to worry about without fightin among ourselves.  Ari lets us knows what ye find”  Cassandra smiles at the artificer and wipes her sword on the beast and puts it back in the sheath.  A splash of water flies up out of the sea and washes the blood and gore off of her, then proceeds to wash the deck.  Despite being immersed in seawater a moment before- she is now clean and perfectly dry.  

Thiago searches the monster 12 investigation. Then he pushes it off the deck. 19 Athletics.

The monster was a sea hag, and the stick was a Wand of Magic Missiles.

"That was a good fight. Have you seen more of those things in this region, captain?"

Cassandra says "i heared of em afore, to be sure, but not yet faced em.   evil fey creatures they be, full of hate  nice wand though, who be wantin it?  we'll draw straws "  (roll a d20 if you want the wand). 

I have no use for this.  I already know this spell.  It could help someone who needs more range.  Or you know what..........

OOC -  So the internet says a homunculus could activate a wand.  What is your ruling on this?

 OOC - Awesome thanks!  Yea I was just deep diving into the wands rules and a wand of magic missiles is given as the example of "anyone can use".  Well Harold will get the wand unless someone can beat out his 19.  It isn't too broken because I have to sacrifice my bonus action to command him to use it.

Ari feels guilty that Harold won out on the straw drawing.  

Thiago - I am excited to have won fairly the item, but I do feel you may have more use for it.  Maybe we can strike a deal?  I will give you the wand now, but you must assist me in crafting a 2nd one for Harold as I can't get the idea of him flying around blasting magic missiles out of my mind.  Between yourself, Harold and me working together - we can make a 2nd wand in 5 - 8 hour workdays.  We can do it during our downtime while traveling.  Captain Cassandra - the gold cost would be 200GP - any chance the ship's coffers could help?

OOC - So uncommon magic item would take 2 weeks to craft and 200 GP - the work divided 3 ways.  I am already a magical inventor, have the spell and an original to replicate  so I would assume it would be a pretty easy feat to create the wand.  DM - let me know if this is approved. Thanks!

You can, but 50sp worth of silver and a gem of your choice is required. Also, one of the people building it must be able to cast magic missile.

OOC - Awesome!  I have the spell magic missile (it's part of my armer expanded spell list).  If the materials are on either of the ships I will craft with them in my downtime.  I also have the ability "right tool for the job" where I can make any type of tools that may be required.  

“Aye ye can use the gold,  methinks it’s  like a right good plan” Cassandra says.  (OOC I otta look up our loot log  but we have a decent amount of gold) 

Tuna glances down  at his clawed feet and says. "I might be able to use the boots but I'm not sure if they will fit me."  

After that he cleans his gear and goes back to fishing, mumbling to himself, "I hope to catch a fish this time and not another sea hag."
