Cassandra leads the group back to the dock master, and points out the ship to the newcomer.   “I’m gonna talk to the dock master again and let’s him know whots whot.” She says

”hoy there sir, I be back from talking to the constable.  He don’t believe anything is going to happen but I think ye outta know we’re going to be guarding and patrolling tonight.   If this letter I have isn’t fake-  there will be an attack tonight on port at midnight.   You might want to ready any defenses and tell the ships to be on extra watch just in case.   She shows him the letter.   “”Now maybe it’s fake, and maybe nothing gonna happen- but it don’t do no harm to be a little on guard so it?  If it were real- what would you do to defend the city?  Any defenses set up here? Chains across the river, that sort of thingy?  “

Jimbo clearly looks worried, lowering his voice he follows the others.

His whole week plans shattered, he whispers:

"Have you tried to talk to someone official about this?!"

But then he thinks at the lazy bureaucrats at the docks...

"oh, nevermind"

 The dockmaster explains that he is only concerned with commerce-related issues, and is powerless to shut down the whole port.

(OOC- After all your wandering through town, it is now 8:30 PM. Use your remaining time wisely.)

Cassandra will ask him if there’s an alarm bell or warning system for the port that can be rung,  then she will return to our ships, along the way spreading the word amongst all the captains and crew she sees “be on Yer guard tonight- rumors going round about a possible attack on the port at midnight.  Might wants to keep an extra man on deck and keep Yer weapons handy in case it be real,  spread the word!” 

she returns to the ships and briefs the crews, divvying up the alchemist fires.  She and Tuna each take 3 she puts 3 on each other boat.  

OOC- I’m disappearing to go camping again see you later

He didn't want to be mingle with all this havoc, but it is too late now and, all in all,

it has been a little while since he had some good proper action nor in the city, or at sea, or in the wilderness so, without admitting it, he craved for it

Eventually something is happening, and I am in the middle of it. Let's just hope I can recount it

(Ooc- no worries!  Well so basically we’re getting ready for a big assault by a fleet of ships on the port- tonight at midnight (we think).  Any ideas welcome.  Our plan is to meet the guards at the docks and then figure out what to do.   Tuna and Cass will try to sink and burn as many ships as we can by swimming..))

You see seven guards standing at the dock. Make sure the rest of the crew is coming.

Tuna will skulk along quietly behind Cass.

Ensuring we have the whole crew, Cassandra calls out to them “ahoy there and good evening to ye.  I hopes your constable has told ye what this were about.    We’re expecting an attack tonight, at midnight, by a fleet of ships from somewheres-  maybe the crimson empire.   Now Yer boss didn’t much believe me, he didn’t much trust this note I have, but he were willing to gets you all out to help.   Anyhoo-  let’s pretend this were real- that there is a fleet coming-  what would you do about it?  That’s what we want to do tonight.”

Cassandra is a little concerned that this could be a double cross- (maybe these guard are all on the other side) so she is ready to react if they move to attack or anything-  she also told the crew to be ready.   She positions herself near the water on the dock, and is ready to jump in if needed. 

Tuna if he can at the sign of Cassandra's caution will try and hide behind some boxes.

 You could make an insight check to see if they are trustworthy. The guards suggest going to the mouth of the river where the bay tapers off into. Any boat heading that direction would be forced to be close to the bank, making for easy boarding.
