I set up my hammock on the deck and go towards a box and equip the crampons

Anyone else want do do anything before dawn?

(is everyone in the group actively participating? I saw we had a new inquiry.   If you don’t want to play, or real life is just busy but you want to stay in, ust speak up). 

(It's ok if everyone isn't online all the time. I recruited this many so that there will always be a few people available. I'm perfectly fine if half the campaign isn't here, it's a big ship after all, and some of the late-night watchmen might be asleep!)

Alright. One of the watchmen roll Perception for the night lookout.

Ash writes in her note book. She didn’t know that she stayed up for hours writing in the book about sailing and making the pages look pretty. She ends up asleep on the floor, face flat on the floor with her note book on her hammock. 

Oof. Only short rest for you then.

Uther, Sear, or Sylhorn, roll Perception for the night watch.

Through the night, Uther keeps a very attentful watch. Aside from some fish and a dolphin or two, his eyes are glued to the dark shape as it gets closer and closer. It becomes evident that it is a small yacht, probably on its way to Pondcoast city. As dawn breaks, you notice the unmistakable red banner of the Crimson Empire flying from its single mast.

There are no visible ship's weapons aboard. The two ships are set to reach hailing distance in an hour, boarding distance in two.

What do you do?

"Rowan, Sylhorn, where are you? We're going to pull closer to the ship, Then the three of us are going to dive off the side of the ship, while Cassandra and the others hold ground here. Then, we're going to do a two-pronged assault, Cassandra will attack the boarding party while the three of us climb the other side and attack them from behind. Sound good?"

Røwan abruptly wakes up and sees the incoming ship "aye aye"

Then prepare for boarding. Ready spells, equip weapons, maybe dig around in the hold for anything useful to board the yacht with.

Røwan pulls his dagger out and get ready.
