Sephyre listens attentively while casually trying on some of the more foppish hats in the establishment. "Interesting, the plot thickens. Anything more you can tell me about either Davil Starsong and his Doomraiders or this great magic item they are supposedly fighting over? Mayhap this item will find its way to this counter should everything go well with our exchange of favors Mr Fel'Rekt."
D’labos looks around at the tavern as it empties out. “Hmmm, I guess there’ll be no more cards here tonight. Durnan, pour me a tall one, would you sir? And line ‘em up.” D’labos drops one of his newly acquired dragons on the bar. “This’ll get me started.”
Nowles will read for a while longer before he heads to bed, keeping both his staff and dagger close at hand incase something else attempts to attack them from the well like before. Other then that he shall sleep and then head down stairs to meet up with the others to begin looking for Floon.

"I would be very interested to learn what is worth so much bloodshed," Fel'Rekt agrees; "good luck."
You all sleep, either in a room in the Yawning Portal or at your own place. The next morning comes, with only a slight dusting of snow falling. You meet at the Yawning Portal's taproom for breakfast as you had planned. What do you discuss?
"It seems like we should head to the Skewered Dragon as soon as we can. That is the last place Mr. Blagmar was seen." Nowles suggests as he calmly eats his morning meal, his eyes never leaving his spellbook as he double checked those that he had prepared for the day.

After the visit to Nevercott's Haberdashery Sephyre goes for a quick nightly and very cold skinny dip in the Sea of Swords, fetching the most interesting algae she can find.
She then goes home to her parents and sleeps soundly in her small upstairs alcove dreaming of gold dragons and mysterious magical items.
Next morning she has a quick and simple breakfast with her parents, wishing her father good luck with todays catch and walks over to The Yawning Portal for her breakfast rendez vous. When she arrives she stomps off the snow from her boots, orders a hot cup of tea to warm herself from the cold outside and finds a chair by her new associates.
"I agree Nowles, hope you had a good nights sleep by the way." Sephyre says and smiles. She then turns to all assembled. "I did some research last night and found out that the conflict between the Xanathar Guild and the Zhentarim pertains to some great magic item. I don´t know if this is imortant to our current mission but I thought you´d want to know. In fact I wouldn´t be surprised if the kidnapping and the conflict is somehow connected, which could set us on a course towards that mysterious magic item. Now that would be something wouldn´t it?" Sephyre says somewhat excited. She then pauses and looks to Aster. "By the way, I got these for you last night, thought you would like them my friend." She says smiling at the gnome, handing her the algae she collected.
"So are we ready to go then?" Sephyre says when breakfast is finished and readies herself for a visit to the Skewered dragon. "We can do a short morning tour of the city on our way there. I will show you our main attractions" she adds to the newcomers.
Nowles finishes his meal, reluctantly closing and stowing his book away. He quickly uses a cantrip to clean the area around himself, grasping his staff as he stands. "I am ready to depart if you all are. The sooner we can find our target the better as I could use the coin to facilitate staying a while longer. As kind as Durnan is I do not think it would extend to allowing free room and board."

Making sure Hugo, Aster and Marena are ready, Sephyre takes the lead, leaving the portal and making their way through the snowy waterdhavian morning streets towards the Skewered dragon down in Dock ward, making sure to make it an interesting walk to the newcomers. "And over there we have the Blackstaff tower, home to the archmage of the city of wonders who can call upon the service of the walking statues." She points to several enormous statues seen across the city skyline. "And over there we have Mount Waterdeep, where Mystra, Kelemvor and Cyric ascended during the time of troubles." She says a bit proudly. "And here we have Dock ward, home to the less fortunate. It can be a rough neighborhood but after last night I know you all can take care of yourselves." She says smiling as they approach the Skewered dragon.
Aster's morning grogginess faded away when she saw the others, prepared for an adventure. She was especially thrilled with what Sephyre found, even if it may seem like pieces of grass to others. "Ooh, thanks a bunch!"
Packed and ready to go, she follows the group to the Skewered Dragon, not knowing the directions by herself.
