The party heads up the stairs and are able to find the kitchen just down the hall from the study by following their noses. They are reunited with Mohdrak and find him with his two small friends, who look remarkably similar to the clay figures they just encountered in the laboratory.
(Not sure if you all were waiting on me, sorry if so!)
" That smells a lot better than anything I've pulled out of a ration pack haha. Find out anything interesting?" Ollezall will walk into the dining/kitchen addressing Mohdrak.
"Are you guys Homunculi?" Addressing Coriander and Cumin; "how long have you been in this manor? There's a little shop of horrors downstairs..." Ollezall will trail off waiting for an answer.
Syd closes his eyes as he inhales the heavenly aromas. A goofy smile spreads across his bulbous face. He pulls out a greasy stained cloth from somewhere on his person that you really don't want to think about and ties it 'round his neck, bib-fashion, while seating himself at the table expectantly.
Startled by Ollezal's question to the two small beings, he stage-whispers, "Dude! Not cool! It's none of your business! Love is love!"
To Coriander and Cumin he says, "Sorry guys, he's a cleric, and sometimes they're a little old-fashioned about that stuff."

Cumin and Coriander look at each other with very puzzled expressions on their faces following Syd's hushed exclamation. They shrug and turn to Ollezall, with Cumin responding to his questions. "We are, in fact, homunculi, thank you very much for asking! We've been here for... well... you know, it must be many years by now! Hard to say how many, but I bet our masters could tell you when they get back. I imagine they'll be back around any time now, although I can't think of the last time I've connected with Fistandia. But at least you're here now! And it seems like you're not so foolish as that Matreous fellow, he spent most of his time here asleep. What happened to him? Is he not with you? No matter, your minotaur friend has been cooking with us, you're here to dine with us, this is such a wonderful day!" Cumin seems to be in high spirits with so many guests to converse with and cater to.
Coriander picks up the conversation, "Ohhhh, you went downstairs? That's where we were born! Last thing I saw coming out of there was a small red fellow with a wicked looking tail. Not sure what the masters were going to do with it, but I haven't seen it in a while either. Can't tell you much about it beyond that, the masters don't really like us wandering off on our own and they used to keep us incredibly busy looking after them while they were working so very hard. Anyway, enough about us! Have you been enjoying your time in our little home so far? Found anything interesting?"
The party makes their way from the kitchen into the dining room and see that large windows form the entirety of one wall, looking out on three planted beds filled with vegetation. Within this room, a crystal chandelier hangs above a table made of dark wood. Six matching wooden chairs with scarlet cushions surround the table. A seventh chair sits alone in the far corner. Unremarkable tapestries that depict grapevines and the process of making wine adorn the other walls. The table is carefully set and the two homunculi start to bring in Mohdrak's modest feast while the party is taking their seats.
Cerlinde, sitting down to dinner says to the homunculi- “very nice to meet you both! I am Cerlinde, I hope one day to be as accomplished a wizard as your masters. And this is an incredible meal! We explored the cellars and found a alchemist laboratory and a room filled with many interesting preserved creatures, some a little too well preserved- we were attacked by crawling claws. But we are ok now. A homunculus is down there nearly finished, but not awake. You don’t happen to know how your masters woke you, do you? Also- do you happen to know anything about these books? They appear to have writing in them, but it does not seem to mean anything.
Cumin appears concerned by the report of the attacks. "Oh dear, yes, one must be careful I suppose. Master was protective of her things and sometimes she would get a little bit dinged up. Not sure what she was dealing with, but she always worked and trained very hard. We just did our best to take care of her."
Then Coriander, who is serving the guests, stops whistling his little tune and chimes in. "Did you say there are more of us down there? And they're asleep? How peculiar. I wonder why they haven't come up to join us. I don't remember anything about waking up, just that our master told us we were born down there. The first thing I remember is having so much knowledge in my mind, it was overwhelming. One day that all disappeared. I do hope our masters come back soon."
Cumin is slightly distressed by the talk about thieir masters and interjects. "Oh, those books! We have been warned by our masters not to touch any books that have single letters on their spines. I imagine those are the ones. They never told us why, but it seemed like they were important to them."
(Just waiting for Mohdrak before we get this feast started. Feel free to continue to chat with the little hosts.)
Syd nods his head and smiles as the strange old man talks to him, but his mind keeps wandering, alternating between "When can I eat?' and "I wonder where the red one with the 'wicked tail' is?"
He will slowly walk around the room, looking behind tapestries, and shining his lantern on the empty 7th chair, while waiting for dinner to be served.
With everyone taking their seat at the dinner table, Mohdrak ducked back into the kitchen and began to carry out plates and pots along with the two homunculi.
'My apologies, friends, but as it is an unfamiliar kitchen and I did not have the time for proper mise en place, I must confess it is but a simple meal.' He reached for everyone's plate in turn and began to serve. 'What it lacks in quality,'He said as he handed Syd his plate, 'I endeavoured to compensate with quantity.'
With everyone having a plate filled with meat and vegetables before them, Mohdrak put on his best soft voice. 'A simple three course meal: a main course consisting of a meat-and-vegetable stew brought up to snuff with herbal flavouring and spices with bread aplenty on the side. I would recommend water as the drink of choice as not to muddle the tastebuds too much in between bites but if you desire something stronger, Cumin and Coriander can provide for you. After the main course will follow a selection of nuts and cheese with accompanying white wine to complement the palate. For those still wishing a dessert after, there is fresh fruit along with heated mulled wine to bring a deep sleep.'
He raised his own goblet. 'Απολαύστε το γεύμα σας.'
He sat down. 'That's Minotaurian for enjoy your meal.' He smiled and reached for his own knife and fork. 'I hope it is enough.'
The party is all enjoying the fine meal put together by Mohdrak, with the assistance of their tiny hosts, Cumin and Coriander. A jovial conversation commences, with the party sharing tales of their previous adventures and Cumin and Coriander reminiscing about their masters. Everything seems to be going just as well as could be imagined. Which, of course, means that something wicked this way comes.
Seeing that the party has more or less completed the main course, with many compliments to the chef, Mohdrak attempts to stand and head to the kitchen, but finds that the chair in which he is sitting seems to be stuck to his back and legs. He is unable to move and as he shifts his weight, trying to figure out what is happening, Mohdrak feels a sudden movement behind him.
With Ollezall still in it, he will call toll-the-dead down on his chair for 6 damage or 3 if the target is missing any of its hit points; WIS 15 save.
My wisdom save if you rule I could be affected since I'm in my chair. 24
(It sounds like Ollezall is attempting to cast the spell on his own chair, not Mohdrak's, correct? If that's the case, check the clarification below and I'll let you redirect that if you want.)
(OOC so what do the rest of us see as we look at the minotaur?)
Ollezall sees Mohdrak flinch, perhaps uttering a little grunt as he does so. Ollezall inquires as to whether the minotaur is okay and as he does so, the party, their attention drawn by Ollezall's question, sees a red velvet tentacle that seems to have emerged from the chair back rising up over Mohdrak's shoulder. The other party members quickly check their respective chairs, but no one else seems to be stuck.
Cumin gives a little squeal and exclaims, "Master minotaur, my heavens, something seems very wrong with your chair! Coriander, what is going on?" Coriander replies in a slight panic, "I don't know, I don't know! I thought that an extra chair had popped up some time ago, but I forgot about it. You know how scatterbrained I've been since master left, I'm sorry!"
Mohdrak is stuck to the chair, along with Syd's greatsword, which seemed to harm the creature a great deal. To remove themself or their weapon, they may each attempt an Athletics or Acrobatics check at disadvantage.
Cerlinde's Fire Bolt struck the creature, along with the necrotic damage from the Hex. The chair + Mohdrak + greatsword assemblage is now slowly shuffling toward the door that opens to the hallway.
I'm currently waiting to see if Ollezall intended to strike Mohdrak's chair or was going for a knee-jerk reaction attack on his own chair just in case. Both equally valid in my mind from a role-play perspective. I'm also waiting to see how Mohdrak wants to deal with his predicament and how Dyumi will respond. Dyumi's looking a little odd to everyone at the moment.
Cumin and Coriander are zipping around the room in the air, screeching in fright and dismay. Their actions do not seem to be helping the situation!
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Hey!... ummph... let.... go... urgh... my.... ummph... sword!" (Yanking and tugging to free the greatsword) "Grrrrr......"
Round 2
Bonus action: Rage power activate! (I believe rage gives advantage on STR checks, so it should cancel out the disadvantage, and just make it a straight roll)
Action: Athletics 21 to free greatsword
Move: Syd circles around to block the doorway and prevent the Mino-chair-opus from leaving the room.
Also, Dyumi has looked odd since the first time we met him ;)
“Wow that smells delicious- hopefully that means Mohdrak found the kitchen!” Cerlinde says, and heads up the stairs and follows the smell.

Mohdrak feels a lash strike him on the back, then sees a tentacle reach up over his shoulder. Mohdrak is currently grappled.
(I'm assuming you're not holding your shield, so your effective AC at the moment is 17, let me know if you have another interpretation.)

Greatsword Attack: 24 Damage: 14
Cerlinde jumps up, looks at all the chairs, and then shoots a firebolt at the tentacled one, as she transfers her Hex to it.
9 firebolt to hit
5 firebolt damage if hit
4 hex damage if hit (assuming been less than an hour)
(Argh got the manipulation tag cause I had an error in my firebolt formula.)
