(Marcus and Irene definitely want the thing gone. In that case, just roll me a raw Int check and a raw Dex check for figuring out how to properly disassemble the thing, then actually taking it apart.)

(Yeah, didn't expect much.)
Int: 18. Dex: 16.
Hugeo will, in theory, prefer to do it alone. However, if he cannot understand how to do it properly (I'm writing without editing, so I don't know what the dice rolled. Basically, if he rolled poorly on the Int check, or if he didn't completely destroy everything with a bad Dex check and something can still be saved), he'll turn to Thardoran for help, remembering the Wizard had offered his help before Hugeo tried to do it by himself. (Because, if it gets to that point, he cares more about saving it than letting someone else look at the thing. They'll get a chance on the train anyway.)
The process is not a clean one. The arm below the point where it was originally ripped off is all mechanical, but above that there is no clear line where metal ends and flesh begins. Removing the arm is as much an act of butchery as one of dissassembly. Eventually, however, Hugeo manages to separate the arm from the body, which now lacks about a pound of flesh in addition to the arm. The sandmount certainly did a number on the appendage, as the gun's barrels are caved in, useless, and many of the mechanisms inside are rendered worthless. Still, Hugeo can recover most of it, though he certainly doesn't comprehend how it all works. Notably, there are some words in a script he doesn't recognize etched into some of the gears.
(Is Hugeo totally disassembling the arm, or keeping it mostly intact?)

(The idea is to keep it intact, just sepaeate it from the rest of Isaac. I don't even mean to use it on Hugeo, just keep it. Maybe another time it will have something to do with a feature he'll get anyway.)
Though he ponders their meaning, Hugeo doesn't bother too much with the scripts if he can't read them. Perhaps he'll try another time. For now, he lays the gun in someplace that won't bother him or others, but visible. To remember.
Then, he drags what's left of Isaac's body to the top of the train. "There you go. Return to the sands from which we all come." He mumbles as he pushes the remains down to the sands, where he hopes they'll stay forever.
When Hugeo's grisly work is done, Irene calls everyone together.
"So, where are we going now? Caiman is pretty far west from here, so we can just keep going that way. There's also Charybdis up north, and there might be a few other places in sight once we get to the next watering station."
(Now that everyone is said and done, everyone should level up!)

"I thought you'd rather get to Caiman as soon as possible and get this burial done with before any other trouble finds you... or us." Hugeo is surprised to even hear the question raised. "It's fine if we make stops for supplies or fueling when we need to, but I don't think any more than that is a good idea. Let's not forget the Baron still wants to get his hands on you, I'm sure."
Thardoran leaves Hugeo to his work, and puzzles over the locations that Irene mentioned and where they fit in with his understanding of the surroundings.

"What is your goal? Your destination?"
He waves his hand and the dust from their flight vanishes from his clothes, leaving him looking just shabby, instead of dirty and shabby.
Dusty disembarks the train as Isoldus is saying his goodbyes, As the dragonborn gets to the end of their departing declaration Dusty rushes him and hugs him around the waist, "help these people remember the good that music can do for me please! You might learn a thing or two about having fun!" he laughs as he lets Isoldus go, likely unimpressed with Dusty's outburst of emotion, Dusty waves Isoldus off as they give themselves to the guard.
With that done Dusty takes little interest in the mechanical tinkering of Hugeo and Thardoran, but does say as he passes by to resume the powering of the train "gonna need some help up front when you're redy guys! I think I'm feeling like a Captain today!"
Don't think Thardoran has been more than a possible passenger on trains, but he's competent, so if someone points out to him what needs doing, he'll join in.

Isoldus grunts at Dusty's sudden outburst, before giving a terse nod. He remains behind as the train goes on, and Hugeo's cutting begins. The day goes on, as the train chugs along. Clouds of dust are kicked up, and the sun glows white from behind the haze that hovers over the Waste. A few chunks of wastebone crop up from time to time, to eroded to be identified, but the scenery is unremarkable.
Eventually, the train slows as the party comes up upon a water station. The fires still burn hot with coal, but there's only so much water you can turn to steam until there's no more to boil. While the train fills up, the party has a chance to look around. There's not much of anything except for a few specks in the distance, as expected, but there is a signpost on the watering station. To the southwest, it points towards CAIMAN and THE STORMBONES. To the northwest it indicates WIDDERSHINS. ANTH'AUR and BARONY CO. are to the northeast, and DUSTBOWL is to the southeast.
(Is the party continuing southwest towards Caiman, or taking a look at these other destinations. Also, I forget if I said this already, but you should all have leveled up after Anth'Aur.)
While the train is being filled, Thardoranhops down and hobbles off to the side, pulling a pipe free and patting his pockets until he pulls free a pouch of tobacco, tamping the pipe full and kindling a bit of flame dancing on his thumb before he proceeds to puff the pipe, blowing forth smoke before him that swirls, almost forming intelligable shapes before being blown aside by the next puff as his lungs work like bellows. It doesn't seem that he gets any pleasure from the act, and after a minute or so, he taps the pipe out against his heel and grinds the embers into the sand, tucking the pipe back into an interior pocket.
"Nothing telling me any which way better than the others... you said you've business in Caiman?", he addresses Irene and the others.
He holds his arm out, and there is a heat shimmer and swirl of dusty sand that rises up before coalescing in the form of a vulture perching on his arm. The decrepit dwarf turns his attention to the bird.
"Anything following us?"
He turns to the others. "Alright. Where we heading? Cathy can fly ahead and scout for us."
