"Hello to you too, my non-feathered friend." Gewonnt replies, a sneer deforming his face. "I hear you have some new fans." He turns to the magic mirror to see the combatants fall to the feeble blows of the training bots. "Maybe you should teach them how to fight."

The ranger comes out of the kitchen and goes back to his table and is elated to find a mug of Elvish ale waiting there for him. He sits down and begins to enjoy it.
Gewonnt's keen ears pick up news of the upcoming battle. He seems increasingly nervous as it approaches.

you some times you feel like hitting a human with another human
A young Elvish woman enters through the front door. She anxiously looks around for a table near a wall with no one sitting at it. As she makes her way there her bare feet make only the smallest of padding noises as her dress rustles slightly as the leaves that make it up brush each other.
She sits with back to the wall and stares into the distance and contemplates the aftermath of her first Arena battle.
*speaking outloud to herself* "Not only was i late, but i lost to drones too"

Runt, the Stormchosen: Half-Orc barbarian level 5 -- The Guild
"It's quite alright. I would love to hear the rest of the story. Perhaps we can continue our chat after the match." Eldin stands up and walks over to a confused Josias. "Don't be so surprised. We've seen a single wasp do more damage than an entire team of fighters. Also, I'll be back soon. I have something I want to check." Eldin heads into town.
He goes to an armory to trade his short sword for a rapier.
Eldin, he'll buy your short sword for 5 gold. He'll sell a rapier for 25 gold, and a bow and arrows for 50 gold. (You can't sneak attack with a Rapier. It isn't Light.)
I'm assuming this still holds. Eldin pays (25 - 5 = 20) gold for the new rapier.
He then heads to a clay worker and asks him to make 3 specific structures with his clay. The upper half of the structure is like a half-sphere the lover half tapers off a bit but not extreme enough to be called a tear drop. Think of it as a semi-sphere that has a pyramid shape (height= 1/3 of radius of said semi-sphere). The semi-spherical part is completely hollow and the pyramid part is solid. All 3 structures are the same thing but in different sizes. The first one has a radius (of the semi-sphere because the whole thing kinda depends on it) 6 inches. The second one has a radius of 1 ft and the third one is 1.5 ft. Eldin also asks for a small hole (roughly the size of a finger) on the top of the semi sphere part. Once the basic structure is complete. He asks that all three structures be painted so that the spherical part convincingly looks like a stone. He promises the clay worker that he would be paid well for his services and gives him 10 gold as down-payment.
Eldin then goes to a glass worker and wishes to buy some hard shards of broken glass. Preferably sharp and jagged ones.
After that he would try to find a place to buy 1 pound of explosive gun powder.
Calgin limps back into the Glory. He makes his way to an empty spot at the bar and holds up a gold coin. I need a strong drink, he tells the bartender. Then, to himself, Well that was an embarrassing introduction to a new arena...
(Not only did BDaddLy roll ridiculously well for the drones, most of us players rolled horribly bad. I had one good attack roll, but it was on an attack with disadvantage and the second die rolled like a 6. In the 3 attacks I got before being knocked out, I had that one, a critical miss, and another one that rolled a 6. Someone else also got a critical miss, I think on the same round that I did, possibly the next round. It was bad.)
(Edit: I had good damage rolls! They just...never got to actually hit)
Baryk looks over to Gewonnt. "How are you feeling, my feathered friend?"

Baryk chugs his ale and wipes the froth from his mouth. "Haha I'm sure the newcomers would be ecstatic to train with someone as talented as I"

Toren looks back at Eldin, "It appears it is I who needs to apologize my friend, for I have a match to prepare for. Perhaps we can chat again soon."
