" I often wonder.....do they do all the breeding themselves? Or sub-contract? I mean I know Heliod gets around a bit....but it doesn't leave much time for general god-stuff."
"Well anyway..." Klopas says after passing moments of drink and thought, "I need to go mingle with the merchant class, and see if I can turn these collectables into coin."
He stands up while downing his final gulps of mead, and plops the empty tankard down on the bar.
"Alvestra, I don't know the market here, but..."
Klopas takes 3 gold out of an interior place in his clothes and slides them across the wooden surface.
"I'll buy whatever this round of drinks costs for my group, and start a tab if they get more."
He nods with a sigh that releases some slight amount of interior tension. Then, turning to the door, he heads out to find those with whom he might buy/sell/trade.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
((Not sure why the last one said my dice roll was manipulated. I only posted once, not edits or anything...hmm...anyway...original roll as a 7 on investigation. I'll roll with this post too, I guess.))
Klopas tries to locate a jeweler within the market.
" Nistos Forest? Nice Place? Or more ' dark and scary'?"
Klopas notices Goran's abnormally high excitement at the prospect of cider, and takes note without showing visible response.
He takes another long drink of his mead.
"...new discoveries?" he voices inquiringly.
"I would think most would run from monsters instead of toward them..." Klopas responds reflectively.
He takes another big swig-this time-of his mead.
"Any idea where they're coming from all of a sudden?"
"Right right...I forgot several of this country's deities are jerks." Klopas nonchalantly responds before taking another drink.
"Hey, I'm more of a tradesman, but do have history in scholastic achievement..." he continues. "Remind me which ones are the good ones?"
" I often wonder.....do they do all the breeding themselves? Or sub-contract? I mean I know Heliod gets around a bit....but it doesn't leave much time for general god-stuff."
Klopas gives Abrotonon a semi-suprised and curious look in response, but then changes to a nod and general moment of consensus.

(Mm...based on what I have, some kind of jeweler or a general merchant.)
Klopas eyes the marketplace for someone he feels would both take interest and seem to have the means of paying a large sum.
Abrotonon was tempted to follow Klopas but the lure of the retsina was stronger and she got well into her cups as time went on.

Abrotonon eventually passed out at the table.
((Klopas presumably found the merchant and sold his goods?? - Goliath?))
