Aros climbed up. Apologised. Gave the fey a dare. The fey responded. Stalker gave the group a dressing down. The Wilde responded accordingly. You are all getting drenched.
(DM made a ruling, let's just move forward. We're on the causeway. Aros apologized and asked Stalker nicely to carry the dog. If you don't want him to, just say so and Aros will do it herself.)

You asked nicely?
Never heard you ask nicely for anything yet. Even after I could have let you die.
Stalker...that's the name. Respect it. I saved your little life.
"Hey Stalker. Hey! Stalker! Is that really your name? Stalker? Or is that a prank y'all are pulling on us? Nevermind... Stalker!! I know who can COVER your back!"
Resmae watches in stunned horror as her best friend flies through the air after slipping on the bridge. Before she has a chance to do anything, the new friend, who doesn't say much, reaches out and is able to grab her before she falls down into the fog. As they struggle to get back onto the bridge, Resmae trips over her own feet trying to get over to them.
She starts fretting as she watches Aros and Stalker start arguing, "Guys!! We have a lot to accomplish, and one is getting down from this crazy platform! Arguing is not helping the situation in the least. Stalker, I hope you don't mind carrying Sammy down with you. I couldn't bear leaving him on this platform alone!" and as the sky opens up and they get drenched, Resmae can't help herself, she starts to cry as well. So much has happened in the last what, couple hours? all because she couldn't wrangle Bessy.
Stalker growls, "I thought the plan was to get farther along the bridge before lowering down into the swamps. We are all small...a swamp will not be fun slugging."
Halei follows along with the group quietly, and thoughtfully. She often makes decisions on a whim without much care for consequences, with the assumption that she's invincible and even poor decisions will ultimately turn out alright in the end. Aros's close call was a harsh reminder that they were not invincible, especially in these tiny bodies.
She moves to follow Stalker, but backs away when they begin to argue. The argument disorients her, and she no longer knows the agreed on course of action, but she doesn't make any move to ease the tension. She hates it when people get angry, but to her the best way to keep them from each other's throats is to let them talk their anger out. As long as it doesn't break out into a brawl and stays a civil argument, she allows the two to talk it out without intervention. Though if they take to long to decide on what to do she may not be able to resist wandering off on her own again.
Stalker growls, "I thought the plan was to get farther along the bridge before lowering down into the swamps. We are all small...a swamp will not be fun slugging."
"That was certainly your plan my friend,I personally don't like the idea of going into the swamps below....but in the name of knowledge and the sciences I will stand tall and courageous...should we go and take a look further down to see if there is any way of getting down, closer to where Resmae and Aros saw the balloon?"
(Oh dungeons and dragons,Wouldn't be DnD without a bit of inner party conflict)
"I just see the footholes and a way down on this column here, Stalker, if you want to go check the other columns and see if we can get down further along the bridge, I suppose that will work, but its just going to get more slippery up here as the rain continues. Also, with that break on the platform, I hope that isn't going to happen again!"She looks more forlorn than you've ever seen Resmae and she starts hopping from one foot to the other, "I just know I can't leave here without Sammy, and I can't carry him."you can tell she's trying her hardest not to cry anymore.
The big puppy steps over to Resmae and tries to block the rain from her as best as he can, though giving the rest of you a menacing look.
Halei hugs her limbs close to her when it starts to rain. Shivering she turns to Resmae. "I'm not the strongest, and I'm pretty sure he weighs more, but I could try carrying Sammy if he isn't keen to. I really don't mind trying. I'm quite good on my feet."
She knows it may not be the best decision, but she's always thought being decisive is better then inaction, which has lead her into trouble many times.
Wildred seeing the worry and wanting to comfort Resmae puts a hand on her shoulder.."Don't worry Resmae my dear girl...we won't be leaving Sammy he's part of the group to,maybe your right though any longer up here and we may all be tumbling over the edge"
He looks to the others " Are we agreed then?.....climb down now and maybe we could get Sammy comfortable on stalkers back?"

Stalker tries to bring Aros back up. If he survives trying to rescue Aros...which he may not...he risks himself...but he is not pleased.
There is a huge crack of thunder and lightning flashes in the sky. The drizzle turns to pouring rain and your already soaked attire becomes drenched.
(I think our two posts may have overlapped a bit, Stalker.)
ooc - I think Aros has steered you ahead of yourself, oh wise dm.
Stalker holds the backpack. "You seem a burden." He lets Aros hang. "Tell me more about what I HAVE to do."
"My goodness...this rain makes it slippery."
Aros climbed up. Apologised. Gave the fey a dare. The fey responded. Stalker gave the group a dressing down. The Wilde responded accordingly. You are all getting drenched.
(Okay. So we're moving forward with us being on the causeway.)
ooc - I didn't bring her up - I saved her...that's all.
In the space of 10 minutes?
(DM made a ruling, let's just move forward. We're on the causeway. Aros apologized and asked Stalker nicely to carry the dog. If you don't want him to, just say so and Aros will do it herself.)
so you're the dm now
(I'm referencing post #476. Can we please not have an argument in the game thread?)
.

I'm sure your back is covered. In whatever.
