Fenyra looks around to see if she can see where he went, but no, he is gone. She reaches up and grabs the diary as it floats in the air. She then follows the rest outside. Fenyra takes a seat next to Isaac and sees if she can open the book to the map…
Issac watches her and tries to look at small snippets of the text as she tries to flip through it. "try finding the page that looks the thickest" he said.

"Is this hell?" "NOPE!" "Purgatory?" "ITS DEFINETLY PURGATORY! AIN'T NO WAY THIS IS HELL. HELL IS TOO STIMULATING!"
The book began to rattle, as DIO's voice emerged from it. All of a sudden, the book flipped open instantly, a ray of energy flying out from the page of the map!
"Do not look at any other pages. This is the page you need to be looking at."
His cold voice boomed as the wave shot out from the book, this wave caused a marker to appear where the vampire's office was, similar to a GPS.

"Where do these guys get all their ideas?" - TommoBoi, to WOTC
From what it appeared, DIO had some fair control over the book, it was full of his thoughts and even parts of his own body and mind embedded in the pages. The book reeked of death and wine as there seemed to be blood splattered on some of the countries labelled in the book.

Leo watches as the marker springs from the book. He’s impressed, but not altogether surprised. He had seen stranger things since acquiring his ability. Scanning the map, he looks for a marker denoted as ‘Briar Glen’, as instructed.
Issac watches the marker move around the book and watches with mild interest. Issac could smell the pungent wine and wrinkled his nose at it, dead things he could handle, alcohol he could not.

“Well, this book has seen some use it appears. But at least it’s easy to tell where we are coming from. Anyone see Briar Glen?” Fenyra looks at the faces around her to see if anyone knows. “Also, shall we hit a shop before we head out? Do we need any gear? Guess it depends on where our journey sends us…” And she looks back to the map to try and find their way.
Leo chuckles as he and the others scan the map. "I'll be fine. I tend to live and travel light - no home to leave stuff in. It's honestly been pretty nice. No home to pay off. No need to worry about having to relocate."
Issac stuffs his hands in his pockets and tilts his head a bit to the right "are we gonna get going to find this, or are we gonna keep getting older" he asked and smiled a bit. He looked down at his boots and kicked the dried dirt a bit

The book continued to flash as DIO's voice radiated once more.
"The map... the map.. follow the map.."
His voice boomed, the book sending out a small, yet harmless jolt to whoever it was holding. Despite the man saying to follow the map, there was no path at all.

Eric leaned over to see the map not having a clear path so he voiced his concerns, "Boss, there's no path on the map. How exactly are we going to to follow the map?"
The map was rather expansive, showing every main country and city in near eerie detail, however despite all of the detail, the names of the countries and main cities were hard to see because of some dust that has collected over the years. Only one country could be made out on the map, and that was the neighboring country, Astolfia.

Eric watches the book's pages flip and comments, "That's convenient."

Eric checks his Sub Automatic and says, "I could use some more bullets."
Issac looks in his backpack quickly, rummaging through his thing then shakes his head "I'm fine for right now" he said
(uhhh are we still doing this?)
(I hope so. I spent way too much effort on my character and I want to see him in action)
(Hey everyone! Sorry for not DMing yesterday, I had some life stuff and other DnD beyond things to take care of!)

(No prob, DM. Currently looking at the map, so a description of where Briar Glen is and how we could get there would be great)

"You will find a way. I 'believe' in all of you. Gravity and fate shall guide you to this holy loaf. I shall see you all soon."
The voice ceased, with no boom or fancy effects, just a simple reverb as the voice ended.

(Is Astolfia more of a road trip or a flight away from where we are now?)
