Zelvo's gaze lingers on the divinely scorched remains of the goblin for a long moment, before then finally shaking his head. "Should've surrendered... though-..."He looks again to the mutilated remains. "Not sure even Sarenrae would see any redeeming... /this/." Zelvo commented, before in the wake of a sigh looked to the others. "That was, uhm... Good work. There's probably yet more about roaming, but I could use a moment to patch myself up. Rashimi too, by the looks of it, though I won't make too broad assumptious there." With a pained chuckle, Zelvo unhooks his healer's kit and takes a moment to shift cloth and armor about to bandage up wounds.
"One of ya got spare rope? I knocked out one of the little buggers for questioning. And there's a lotta questions here.
(OOC: Not much need for rolling anything for healer's healing since the most damage was 7 I think, but expending charges as necessary. Just let it be known IC or OOC if ya want a patch up.)
Rashimi does indeed look a bit battered (8/17 hp), and also furious, hovering with bloodstains covering her sword and clothes. She slowly lands on the ground and roots around in her bag before she pulls out a coil of tough hemp rope and hands it to whoever wants to do the tying up.
(I do need that roll, I think. Hit die + what again?)
Seeing that Kraig and Kenji either needed a moment to themselves or were yet occupied with other things, Zelvo took it upon himself to do his own dirty work in tying up the goblin with some spare rope in his pack. That is, after of course making sure any tool, trinket or weapon was off said goblin's person and well out of reach before sitting them up by the wall.
"Ugh... Smelly fellow, this one." He complained with a crooked grin of amusement. One that proved to be a short live one at that. As an afterthought, he readjusted the bindings so that part of the rope acted as a gag, before then trying to rouse them awake once more between splashing some water and shaking them. "C'mon, Booger Boo. Wakey wakey. We have some questions and you don't have a lot of time to live. Nod once if you want to live."

"Aight, good. Off to a great start. Now, I'm gonna ask you a few more yes or no questions. Nod if the answer is yes, and shake your head if its no... Pretty easy, right?"Zelvo stares at the goblin pointedly on the last question. Regardless of whether the answer is a positive or negative one, he eventually spoke up again with only the barest hint of remorse. "Just so we're clear, I want only honest answers. So, if you don't know something, I... suppose you can shrug. But if you lie..." He leaves the threat hanging there.
"Now let's get started...Are there more of your kin this building? Were you and your kin told to come here? Was there a woman here that looked sort of like that man over there?"He gestures to Lonjiku. "Do you belong to--" And he'll continue from there repeating and naming each of the known clans. "Do you remember how you got into town? Do you know who that man is? And is your leader here?"

Kraig rubs his shoulder (10/17) but isn't too banged up. The dwarf hops down and listens as Zelvo interrogates the goblin. He looks over at Rashimi looking over Lonjiku's body. He screws up his face, trying to decide what to do next, before going over and searching Lonjiku's body for any clues, or notes that might indicate anything more about the current situation.

Once the initial batch of questioning is over, Zelvo lets the goblin stew there for a few moments while staring them down, before slowly nodding in acceptance. "Aight then now for the tougher questions. I'm gonna remove you're gag now, friend. But if you start yelling or making a fuss, well... I'm sure you're friends there are example enough of what not to do."He said, gesturing over to a nearby goblin corpse.
He is not all too gentle from there in removing the gag, but neither had been intentionally meanspirited about it either. "Now, where's your leader? How did your little band get into town? And do you know where the woman I described before went? And... and why was it that you and your kin have been attacking this town?"He asks sternly at first, though even after pausing to take a short but calming breath, Zelvo practically glared at the goblin when asking last question.

Zelvo's own answer isn't an immediate one. But for the goblin's sake at least, if any had been spurred to inact vengeance, then he'd take it upon himself to at least try to shield the little killer before trying to calm the others. If left to his own thoughts however, he'd rub his chin for a bit before asking frankly, "How do we reach the storage room? And if -- IF by some reason we let you go, would you swear to leave this town and its people alone? At least so long as they don't try to harm you first?"

Zelvo at least squints long and hard at the goblin, wanting to take their word. Yet after a small sideways glance towards whatever mutilated bodies remained in sight and was not being tended to by the others, he again focused on the goblin trying to discern even a hint of deception in expression or poorly hidden mannerism suggesting as much.
Rashimi is clearly furious, hovering in the air with her hand on her shortsword, but she restrains herself from attacking the goblin and instead does laps around the ceiling to try and distract herself. "Who left the gate open for you?" she demands furiously. "And how do we get to this secret room?"
Kraig takes a deep breath, as he calms his mind and connects what dots have been laid before the party in this conundrum. He calmly holds a hand in a calming gesture behind Rashimi so she knows he’s there.
”The storage room is the secret room, and the gate was left open for them.” He pauses, “One more question. Who is the mistress you speak of?”

Zelvo can detect that the goblin would not dare to lie to them under these circumstances and that it's telling the truth about everything. So he can also tell that it's not lying to him when it shrugs. Direct information about his superiors must be more than this simple goblin has access to.

Rashimi looks about ready to fly directly at the goblin when he doesn't answer her first question (about who left the gate open), even though it's likely out of ignorance. But she settles for hovering agitatedly in place near Kraig, knuckles whitening around the hilt of her sword.
"... He speaks true."Zelvo admits after breathing a sigh of reluctance. "And I ain't want to go back on my words... What is your name, goblin?"He asks, and upon receiving an answer adds, "Make yourself scarce *insert goblin name* and discretely at that. If I come find out you made trouble on your way though, rest assured that... well, as this half-orc fellow I knew would say-..." He leans in a bit to close, glaring at the goblin the whole time. "I'll be coming for that ass later. No matter where ya hide. So I'd avoid causing further trouble on your way out."
