Though occupied with playfully bobbing and weaving through tables, chairs and occasional legs, Tuto is making sure he is within a couple strides away from each of his new friends, should anything go wrong. And he couldn't help but groan at this seemingly one sided conversation happening just a few feet away. With a giggle, Tuto prances over to Lelith and gives her cloak a gentle tug. "Oooo. O. O. Oo. O." He takes a step and a half back, still holding onto her cloak, and gestures for her to crouch down close.
When she does, Tuto will pull out a peice of rolled up parchment and unfurl it, revealing a drawing. The first is of two stick figures, one happy and one angry. The next below is the happy figure holding out a sack of gold. The third picture is both figures smilling and talking. He holds out his own sack of gold. And before she could get the idea that he is infering to the honeymooners he gives the cloak another tug as if to say 'Not them'.
Lelith smiled a genuine smile at Tuto while patting his head or at least it looked genuine, she was so good at acting that even that was up to doubt. She sighed before taking a few steps back. She offered a faint smile to the couple. "I apologize for the intrusion. May you find what you are looking forin this honeymoon."
While leading away Tuto, she put her hood back on. The bright expressions she showed earlier now fell flat, she didn't really feel the need to act or lie to her companions. She did not trust them yet but she wanted to, or at least if she wanted for their mission to succeed, she will have to trust them eventually. She didn't really look annoyed or angry at Tuto, she's merely back to her usual self. "I didn't need your help, Tuto."
She turned to leave, however, before she stepped out of the inn and out into the city. She glanced back for a moment to say something before thinking better of it. They, no doubt, would have questions for her tonight once she returned. Hopefully, she would be done by then.
Rum nods to Tuto, understanding he didn’t need anything, and leaves The Gilded Oak following the directions from the Dragonborn lady.
He heads directly to the blacksmith, acquires the goods he requires and returns without delay, hoping to be back in time to join the others for dinner.
When he gets back to the inn, he heads in through the courtyard, checking quickly on the animals, making sure they have been cared for.
He then makes his way back into the common room to find the rest of his band.
Greko snorts and proceeds to take a seat at a table "No need for Greko to walk about town. Gre....I will sit here and hold the table for those who wish to go about town"
After seeing the situation with Lelith resolve, the tension in Ro's body leaves. As Lelith leaves the inn Ro turns to Tuto, "My opinion of you has grown, err, not that I ever doubted you. But I appreciate one who takes initiative to step in and attempt to diffuse the situation and offer alternatives. I'll be out a short while to purchase a shield and do some training before returning. If you have no plans, you are welcome to accompany me." Ro gives the gnome a smile and waits for his response before taking off into town.
Tuto puts a glove to his mask and hums. He hasn't had enough time to play around in the inn yet. Although, making a mock about town with a bunch of strangers sounds promising. And he could always return. "Oooooo....O!" He jumps a little as he nods his head at the offer. At the mention of training, Tuto reaches into his coat and pulls out a blade. He holds it to himself, then to Ro and begins to do a few practice swings around himself. It's a bit careless, and lax as to not accidentally hurt anyone, but he couldn't help himself.
Ro gives a slight chuckle at the gnome's eager response and moves a step back at as Tuto show's off his skills. "Careful there, let's save all that for when we run into Blix," Ro says jokingly. Over the past week, Ro grew accustomed to his band. Although he didn't engage often in small talk, there was something about the mute but expressive gnome that made Ro feel at ease, "Alright then, let's head into town."
Rum enters the common room and looks around for the rest of the group, spotting Greko sat at a table. He waves at him and heads to the bar to talk to the barkeep, Vraylish.
”Hello, Vraylish right? Do you happen to serve Dragonclaw ale here?”, he asks wondering whether his brew has made it this far south. He was vaguely aware that it was distributed further afield by the people he sold to, but wasn’t certain of the exact details.
He spends a bit of time engaging in conversation with the Dragonborn about ales, wines and brewing before joining Greko.
”I hope the others won’t be too long, I’m getting real hungry”, he says, smelling the scent of cooking coming from the kitchen. “Lelith said she’d be back late right?”.
Once the others arrive he will order fresh food, whatever is the days special, and some ale. After polishing it off, he will spend the rest of the evening in the courtyard of the inn if allowed, or another spot if need be, training with anyone who wishes to join for a few hours. He then heads to the room to sleep, intending on waking early as usual.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Tuto finished his preformance with a wide swing, making him twirl for a bit before catching his balance. He put the blade away and pulled out his flute. Such a start to a day deserves a song with pep! Tuto started to play his songs as the two of them walked out of the inn.
Greko smiles at Rum "Lelith did not say anything other than they did not need Tuto's help. The others walked about town and trained, I believe. Perhaps we should order something to munch on while we wait, yes?"
After a little over an hour walking about in town, Ro returns with Tuto and a new shield on his back. Ro will join the others for supper and afterwards do some martial training alongside Rum and Tuto before turning in for the night.
(ooc: Ro will be training with his shield and start working towards gaining shield proficiency).
Lelith reappeared a few hours later, she looked particularly satisfied with a rather happy looking face with her hood down. She rejoined her companions, she had briefly checked her belongings in her backpack and brought her lyre with her. Lelith looked like she wanted this to be a moment worthy of celebration... She sat beside them without words and then started to play, her fingers deftly pulling the strings and creating beautiful melodies. She then sang along in Elvish, her euphonious voice sounded ethereal and otherwordly. For those who knew the illustrious song, they would recognize it as the ancient elven song dedicated to the Goddess Angharradh, Consort to Corellon Larethian, the Queen of Arvandor.
Yam has nowhere to go at the moment, so she remains with Greko at the tavern and awaits the rest. "Seems like we old folk have both had our fill of walking about towns. Makes one think it's just excess energy in need of discharge that gets the young walking, don't you think?"
When Ro comes with a shield, and expresses his wish to learn how to use one effectively, Yam sugfests her help. "A shield is a powerful tool. A sword can take lives, while a shield can save them, but without propper training it's just a piece of metal one straps to their hand. Come, let me show you." Yam will help Ro train, showing him the basics of handling a shield. It's easier to learn things with propee guidance than it is alone.
Rum wakes early as is his routine, refreshed by sleep after an evening of training and the surprisingly beautiful performance by Lelith, singing and playing the lyre. He looks around the room he shares with Ro, Greko and Tuto, and quietly gets dressed so as not to disturb them.
Once dressed, he carefully opens the window and slips through, effortlessly climbing up the outside of the building to the roof, making sure as not to leave noticeable claw marks on the exterior of the building. He spends a few moments admiring the view, before sitting down cross legged and meditating.
Once done he climbs down the side of the building into the courtyard and checks on the animals, before heading into the common room and greeting those present.
“I enjoyed our training session yesterday”, he says to the group when they are all present. “It is good to keep both mind and body limber”, he adds with a smile.
“And that was a beautiful song you were singing last night Lelith. You seemed to be in quite the good mood if you don’t mind my saying. I assume whatever errand you had was successful?”, he asks curiously.
“Oh, and what time was our meeting with the Captain?”

“Oh, and what time was our meeting with the Captain?”
"An errand? I suppose it could be seen as one. I delivered a wonderful gift." Lelith smiled beautifully. "And thank you. The song is as much of a performance as it is a prayer to Angharradh..."
There are people filing into the common room. Most of them look like they haven't slept long enough.
There is a table turned over near the stairs, and there are chairs scattered around it. The older male Dragonborn, the one the band came to know as Vraylish, is cleaning up the mess.
"Drama." He whispers to himself and sounds irritated. "Lovers. Always have to be drama."
Upon seeing Rum he slaps on his best smile and steps over to the Tabaxi.
"Will you be leaving today? If so, it'll be 3 gold. One for each room, and one for the stables."
There are sounds out in the town. Far away the shout of sailors and the ringing of bells at the docks can be heard as they slip in through the windows.
Greko left right after Rum but used the doors. He found a quiet place amongst the trees near the town to commune with nature and meditate. It always provided a sense of clarity for him. He returned to the common room where he saw Rum and Lelith and joined them. "Good Morning. We slept or meditated well last night, yes?"

"Some did, some did not," Lelith smirked, gesturing toward the mess in the inn. It had been quite a fight. She offered the inn owner his three golds. "We should be quick and gather our belongings. The Captain likely expects us at the docks."
"Well I slept well, and my meditation this morning was relaxing", Rum says to Greko.
"My thanks, I will get you my share a little later", he says to Lelith as she pays the bill.
He looks around, turning to Vraylish. "What happened, all was quiet when we headed upstairs? Who do you think did this?", he asks having not been involved in the conversation with the elf and dwarf couple.
"The Dwarf and the Elf from last night. They were squabbling as they went out the door. Just a quarrel. The Dwarf shoved the table over on their way out in the middle of the night. Just...drama. No big deal." Vraylish replied.
It only takes a moment to set the table back up and put the four chairs back where they went.
Rum sets the chair he picked up back in place, “A temper lost can easily be found, hopefully they worked out their difference. I believe we will be taking our leave shortly. Could you make sure our mounts and cart are ready please?”, he says to Vraylish.
Looking to the others he says, “It sounds like the docks are already busy, we should take Leliths suggestion and make haste”.
If everyone is ready, once they all have their belongings he will head to the courtyard, and make haste to the docks.
