The wizard didn't reply to Alex at first, reading as she is doing the book with black cover she has in her knees.
"Oh sorry Alex didn't hear you. You said..."
After his friend repeats the question she answer with bright eyes.
"We found some of his books Alex. Do you know what this mean? We " she says pointing to Escarin " can learn now ho his magics. Spells that hadn't been seen in Krynn since the Cataclysm... " Shan's voice is captured by emotion.
"Yes Alex, the potential is so great, we could be able to do amazing things with the knowledge in this book." Escarin looks a little bit overwhelmed at the prospect before adding "I suspect they will be more suited to Shan's style of magic than my own but I hope to discover some things I can use even if only as a ritual.. how have you fared?"

Vhon - Level 2 Warlock - What shall become of the Drunken Sailor?
Though not really comfortable the High Gulp guest rooms are relatively safe. At lest from monsters.
What poor light you have been able to create is enough for reading and you all enjoy the relative peace offer to you. You do have to dig into you supplies for food since you can't trust the rancid and barely edible food the dwarves bring you.
The books Escarin and Shan have brought are truly amazing throve of knowledge and you all get drawn into the sharing. Some time passes by butt you all remember the waning of the goddess. "The disks must be found." and you all have a pretty good idea of where they may be found.
Bupu has tried to be the perfect hostess but she spends more time fending off the other dwarves than helping you and answering questions.
She has, after some almost painful looking thinking, found a guide to take you to the "dangerous place where the living death, and where no gully dwarf goes lives."
"How is going to guide us? Have you ever seen that living death? how it can be living if it is dead? I always wonder how that kind of creatures can exist. You know? " he ask to the gully dwarf, it seems that he had forgotten his own first question " I even ask Shan about it and she tried to explain it to me, it has something to do with energies of black magic and necromancy it seems. I wonder if they call it black magic because you can see black things when it is conjured... "
Xorn over hears his friends questions “More like how do you make the living death dead again should be what yer askin’.” The minotaur picks over the rancid offerings and frowns. “Rations it is. If we had some good water I’d fix us up some grub. Don’t s’pose you finger wagglers can do that can ya?”
Alex
"What did you all find while we were separated? There is more room down here than I expected. We could be looking for weeks before we find the Discs."
Alex will go thru his equipment making sure everything he might need is there.
