(OOC: So I learned something valuable here with PBP... Moving forward: For any group trap, stealth, etc. I am going to do a group pass fail moving forward, so we don't sit here FOREVER with hundreds of attempts and rolls.)
For the sake of moving forward:
Gelin takes: 2 points of damage from the rocks
Morgan takes 1 point of damage from the rocks
Frixori takes 2 points of damage from the rocks
Carodoc takes no damage from the rocks
Cyrnair takes 1 point of damage from the rocks
See spoiler for damages, but for the sake of moving forward, you all made it to the top of the ledge. With the 40 feet of light being shed from your multiple light rocks, you can see that the ledge drops off to a 6 foot drop (NO MORE CHALLENGES LOL. You all can jump down when you do so...)
To the left (Almost True West) you can see multiple tattered and stained bedrolls. They are unkempt and empty. There is 2 small fire-pits between the 5 bedrolls. You can see another Ledge with roughly hewn stairs that leads up further into the cave, but you cannot see what is up on the ledge from where you are.
To the right, you see a long, narrow tunnel that heads further northeast. The tunnel has a heavy incline up into the mountain, but you do not see any water running this way.
Yeah... next time, its a group pass fail. To hard to keep rolling, and it is not worth holding the story up for. I am used to IRL campaigns like Critical Role, where a Door is the worst thing you can face and it takes you 20 minutes to get by it lol.
"Those bedrolls belong to something...a handful of somethings to be exact. Probably should check out this cave (to the west with the ledge) a little closer to make sure we don't have a surprises. We weren't exactly the quietest coming up here, so the owners of those bedrolls maybe hiding up on that ledge."
FYI: I snuffed out my light before we headed up the hole.
The group hops down from the ledge and heads into the cavern to the west. The smell of unwashed goblins, feces and urine is strong in the cave. Questionable meat is piled in corners near the firepits and the type of meat it is does not make you want to investigate further. As you head further in the cave, it is hard to see over the lip of the stairs and the ledge. It is roughly 10 feet tall. You are currently standing in the middle of the cave and bedrolls. What would you like to do.
*Caradoc, you think you can sneak up to the ledge to see if there's anything up there? Perhaps Gelin since you wouldn't need to bring a light?*
Memo to me, when playing the sneaky rogue, darkvision is a serious plus. It's a bit frustrating that our stealthiest party member would have to totally ruin that stealth with a light in order to see anything.

Caradoc grins and nods, giving Morgan a big thumbs-up. With his shortbow in one hand, he covers his mouth with the other hand and transfers the lightstone from mouth to hand. Then he lobs the stone up and over onto the ledge before racing over to the stairs and hiding amidst the shadows as he climbs to the top.

Frixori casts minor illusion of a gnome waving up on the edge of the ledge away from where the stairs meet the ledge, hoping to create a distraction for Caradoc when sneaks up there.
Carodoc manages to toss the little pebble of light in a perfect arc and land directly in the middle of the ledge above. As he races up the stairs, despite his amazing stealth abilities, he realizes that anything that was up there would have immediately been on guard and looking for what threw it. Fortunately, the little gnome figure on the edge of the wall waving helped his impulsive decision.
As Carodoc reaches the top of the ledge, he is instantly horrified by what he perceives. There are 6 cages of rusted iron that are 3x3 feet and 4 feet tall. Multiple decomposing bodies are trapped within. 2 look as though they have been in there for months, 1 looks about 2 days old, and the other body looks quite fresh indeed. Strapped to the wall in chains is a naked half elf woman that looks to be breathing but her head is hanging downward and her long blonde hair flows down past her hips. In the center of the room is a crudely made statue of mud, bones, and stones, and along the walls is whirls of dark blackish brown and red streaks. The smell hits you 10 fold of what it did where the blankets were, but not so bad as the cave with the wolves.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Caradoc freezes for a moment, then calls down, "It - it's awful... there's someone alive up here that needs help!" As soon as a big person arrives, the halfling will demand a boost and then unlock her shackles.

Upon hearing Caradoc's call that someone is alive up on the ledge, Morgan hurries up the stairs herself. When she sees the scene laid out before her, she has to fight to keep from retching.
ConST: 11
She manages not to hurl, but is still significantly shaken by the sight of the decomposing bodies.
Once she sees the half-elven prisoner though, she immediately moves to help, giving Caradoc the requested boost.
*If you can hear me, hang in there,* she projects to the new face. *We're going to get you out of here.*
Apparently the forum dice don't like the DM...
hmm... Not sure what went wrong... I will try again
Youch, apparently that second climb up was pretty rough for most of us...

OOC: Well, that's about on par for what I roll throughout all my games. :P
*Okay, people, two options. Do we head left up the stairs to that other ledge, or do we go right following the other tunnel?*

Morgan nods her agreement with Frixori's statement.

The paladin finish donning his armor agan and follows the rest of the party a little bit later.
“ Ahw this stench “ he tries not to breath through his nose “ Did we find something useful friends?”

"Argh. Didn't think it could smell much worse in here. These goblins are sure steppin' up there game."
Gelin will stay at the entrance to the room, listening for any sign of someone approaching.

The aasimar rushes towards Caradoc's position and tries to hold the half-elf woman while the halfling releases her from her restrains.
"Fear not" he whispers " For aid had come. You'll be fine. We get you"
He is ready to hold her and take her on his arms as soon as the halfling frees her.
Does he recognize her? He will spent 1 HP left on his pool to heal her.
We still have the aasimar racial feature with 1 HP left to heal someone in case of emergency.
PbP Character: A few ;)
I still have a spell slot for another healing word as well.
