(OOC: You are correct Cyrnair. You can repeat the climb or head northward and up the tunnel. I would like a greater consensus of 3 as to which way you go before I continue the story.)
(OOC: Great. Cyrnair will agree with the mayority but he suggests the corridor. No risk of falling, and he hasn’t to remove his armor and dress it again.)
(OOC: Just a heads up. After you complete this leg of the adventure, you will be leveling up. Please think about what you would like to do as far as leveling up is concerned. Keep in mind, if you are thinking about multi-classing, I am okay with it, but I need to approve it first. It has to make sense to the narrative. For example, Cyrnair... a servant of Lathander cant suddenly make a pact with a fiend to become a warlock. I want there to be a narrative to explain it, and it has to make sense.)
"If the other way provides for less climbing, I'd prefer to go that way. Also, maybe our new monk friend here can assist in where the scaled-one might be?" Frixori turns looking to Kate for possible direction.
Kate stands up from her meditation. As she does so the light from her body fades, but it takes longest at her fists and feet. Cracking her neck and knuckles, she slams them together quite hard but it does not seem to phase her. As the knuckles connect, a small flash of that same radiant energy plums from her fists. "Lets go Goblin Hunting. What is all this about a scaled one though?"
"I like the corridor idea... that will let us move quicker. When we go, we need to go fast - light up the room and get close to their archers as quickly as possible." He readies his bow and keeps close to the others, ready to hide behind something or duck into the shadows and get off a quick shot.
Caradoc, if he survives, is staying rogue, so no worries where leveling up is concerned.

OOC: Will be sticking with warlock for at least a few levels I think. Not even sure what I'd MC into?? Pally and sorc fit as far as ability scores go, but how to justify it thematically.
While waiting for Kate to finish her meditation, Morgan has been silently staring off into the darkness of the northeast passage. Once Kate stirs and seems ready to go, Morgan turns her attention on her.
*I spoke with one of the goblins before we came into the cave. She indicated that there is a "Scaled-One" with the "breath of fire" that has been forcing her and her kind to do these roadside ambushes. I got the impression that she was referring to a human, but with scales and apparently some sort of fire-based abilities, likely magical in nature. Have you seen any indications of that in your time here?*
Side note for Frixori, but a Divine Soul Sorcerer would be a pretty good fit with a celestial patron warlock. Could be that the celestial patron awakened a dormant divine power that was already there, or else they decided to imbue their servant with a more direct form of divine power.
"I have only had the... hospitality of Goblins." Kate says, rubbing her shoulders. It seems that the meditation removed some of the swelling in her face, and sealed some of the wounds, but she still looks fairly beaten. "If there is a ring leader, I will be happy to introduce him to the way of the Summer Court."
The group moves up the steep inclined ramp. It runs up for about 60 feet. If not for the light spells cast in the rocks it would be near pitch. As you get to the 60 foot mark, you get to a rickety old bridge. The poor craftsmanship screams of Goblin manufacture. It has a wood plank of sorts every 10 inches, lathed together with old rope. As you look down, you can see and hear the running water of the stream below you. The drop is about 25 feet. The bridge has no hand holds, and sways slightly. It is about 3 feet wide.
(OOC: What would you like to do? If you cross, I would like Acrobatics checks from all of you. It will be a group effort pass fail, unless you come up with another way to cross it. If you want to do something else, let me know.)
I would also like an order moving down the tunnel. It is only wide enough for 1 at a time.
“We should use some rope around our waist in case the one crossing falls. I will cross the last and hold the rope. I guess that some of us will have more diffculty crossing than others... “ he says looking at the more nimble of his companions like Caradoc and Kate.
"Hammering pitons would make considerable noise," Morgan says bluntly but not too loud. "I think Crynair's plan is probably most apt. Perhaps an anchor person on each side, holding an end of the rope like a railing?"
She looks around at the various physicalities of the group, lingering longest of Gelin's stout frame and Kate's hardened build.
"I think either Kate or Gelin might be best to go first, to anchor opposite Cyrnair."
“I will do it if I must, but perhaps someone lighter would be be more apt?” (OOC: If the group decides Kate to do it she will, but I prefer not to have an npc be the solution to a challenge if you know what I mean.)
Didn't figure that, DM, I was just including Kate based on the RP and how she was described physically. I totally understand that we shouldn't lean on her too heavily.
Caradoc wraps the rope around his waist again, then tosses the rest of the rope to the aasimar. "You know what to do, big guy." Then he takes off across the bridge.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The aasimar nods at Morgan’s idea of tying the rope at both sides. That will be probably the best option, specially for me to cross.
Cyrnair was holding tight the rope and even that he was ready the sudden pull of the weight of the halfling made him slide a few hinches before he plants his feet firmly.
(OOC: You will level up when you get out of the cave after facing the scaled one. The only reason I said something is because of my rules for multiclassing.)
Cyrnair ties the rope around himself. It’s a good thing to because Carodoc nearly starts to skip across the bridge. It takes only a second bounce on the bridge before he slips off the bridge. A yelp escapes Carodoc before Cyrnair easily supports his 30 pounds and then pulls him back up.
(Carodoc does not take any damage. However the bridge did. One of the ropes frayed that is supporting the bridge. You have 1 more attempt before the bridge snaps. If someone can get across to help support you, with Cyrnair at the other side, everyone but Cyrnair will not need to roll.)
OOC: From our side of the bridge can we see the steps to the NW on the of the other side of the bridge? Frixori would be towards the back since she was the last one who left the previous cave. Not sure if Gelin waited at the tunnel entrance to bring up the rear?
