(But, but, Sasha is in the middle of trying to buy a dress. Considering what you mentioned about the dance and that it was to be held at the Ivy Mansion I actually thought this would be played out but I suppose we could skip that then if the others are not interested. Perhaps say something of what happens there for immersion purposes, the dance would be a big deal to Sasha.)
(Sorry! weekends are just more difficult for me to post, I am good either way!)
Gerty blushes as Sasha gushes over the dress and that she needs to try it on. She does, and it fits very well and doesn't bother her a bit to her surprise. "Thank you kind sir, here is your gold." she says to the proprietor and swishing a bit to enjoy the feel of the new dress, she follows Sasha wherever she wants to go with a small smile plastered on her face.
"Aww, you look so nice in that dress Gertie, people won't even notice me standing next to you now. Everyone is going to want to dance with you now." Sasha says admiring Gertie's new style as they make their way over to a vendor selling dresses that fits Sasha.
William will use his disguise kit to looks as much as his version of Lord Farquaad for the festivities. If Rika shows up, William would like to dance with her.
Aaron, pockets full of gold and standing with the boys, looks out to the festival and says to them, "Well, whatya say, lads? I think it's time to celebrate this day with some good grub. They have the best roast turkey legs in the whole realm at that stand over there, come on!" He beckons them as he begins to make his way through the crowd.
"Oh come now Sasha! You know that isn't true at all" but Gerty can't help but smile. "Let's go find you a dress that the boys' mouths will drop open!" and she giggles as she follows Sasha to the next vender.
You all have a blast, visit g the various vendors, trying on different fashion items and hearing the gossip from the other towns. Occasionally you will see one of the Harpell apprentice wizards patrolling and making sure things go smoothly. One such apprentice really stand out as his skin is multicolored in bright, rainbow colors…must have made an error in magic class. You get a bit of a laugh at his expense, but he seems very serious about his security detail. As the evening approaches and the sun begins it’s decent, the people of the village start to head over to the Ivy Mansion. Only Longsaddle folks and a few distinguished guests from outside are invited, so it is a very exciting thing. The smell of baked meats, roasted vegetables and spiced sweet cakes fill the air, mingling with the fresh autumn breeze to entice you further. There are several carved Jack the Lanterns lining the path to the entrance. It’s a new thing introduced just last fall. A fun way to celebrate the harvest and keep evil spirits at bay. Or so they say.
"Eh, I am sure she's around or maybe too busy studying on her new magics. I want to make sure I get a good seat for the festivities and whatever that delicious smell is...." Luke takes a deep inhale "Mmm whatever that is smells sweet and spicy at the same time." Luke continues to walk along sniffing the air
Aaron’s mouth waters as he catches that same aroma that Luke is on, “Oh gods yes, what is that? Smells wonderful, it’s gotta be that banquet I’ve heard about at the Ivy Mansion - it’s legendary! Quick, We gotta get some of that before it’s gone ! And look at these pumpkins! That one looks like a goblin, and a witch! How terrifically terrifying!” Aaron excitedly makes his way towards the door.
After spending quite some time visting a series of vendors, dragging around Gerty with her for emotional support to pick her up after a few breakdowns, Sasha finally settles for a lovely green fairly low cut cotton dress which would suit her quite well while dancing but a tad bit less well when adventuring. She also finds a cute but simple necklace with a green shiny stone which compliments her dress nicely. She is very pleased with her choices, and after returning to her room at the Gilded Horseshoe to freshen up and change into her new dress she returns to the festival area, catching up with the boys as they approach the entrance to the Ivy Manison. "Hey boys, hope you had a good afternoon."She says as she catches up with them, smiling shyly while making a little twirl in her new dress in front of them.

you enter through the lavish doorway and are guided to the student dining hall, since it is big enough to accommodate everyone. Tables are lined up and covered with table clothes in Autumn and harvest themes and colors. Rikaria is there, waiting for you all so she can guide you to your seats. “ I am so glad you are all here! Isn’t this exciting? “
She gives a special look to Gerty, as her wide smile and genuine excitement fill the space. She says a few special words and an illusion of a goofy looking Gnome wearing a super tall hat and tuxedo appear before you. He winks and motions you to follow him as he heads towards your seating assignment. Right in the front row with the foreign dignitaries.
Once you reach the table, you see a name card at each space for each of you and the gnome disappears. Rikaria says she has to sit with the other apprentices and she will see you before you head out.
in the center of the room there is a dais with a smaller table where the Mistress and her Husband will sit
