Failing to find the door, Bran attempts to move toward the nearest ‘scritching’ sound, one hand out in front and using his quarterstaff with his other to tap the floor in front of him. “Who is there? Speak, curse you. What is the meaning of this?”
This Mug immediately shared with me a transcendental tale of an Infinite Mug that anchors the Universe and keeps it from folding in on itself. I filed this report under "illogical nonsense" and asked why its sign is in Times New Roman font, when it is basic knowledge that Arial Black is a far superior font. I wondered: How did this mug even get past the assembly line with its theistic beliefs and poor font choices?

(How long does this blindness last? Is it a round, a minute, or longer? Just trying to understand if we are starting to see something or if blindness is going to be a problem for some time to come.) Veil reorients herself with the new sounds, but is glad the light has gone. "Do not light any more lights." She calls out to the group-at-large. "Once our sight returns I'll be able to see in the darkness, and we can use that to find our way out of this chamber."

The party waits a while in blindness. During this time, they hear the foot patterring and another *click*. The draft that they had felt seems to have gone away.
They are left in silence, except for the ever present *tick - tock*.
Veil, Perner and Vinny start to realize that they have slowly regained their sight.
The others still remain blinded.
Those who can see in the dark:
The hall is dark. The weak gray light from the window on the west wall is the only illumination. It pushes away the darkness as effectively as a feather moving a boulder. Even perner's torch is oddly re-quenched.
Perner is at the north wall of the hall, north-east of the party. Vinny is facing the window on the west wall.
Also odd, given the violence enacted by the party, the mirrors are all in tact and no glass or any debris lies on the floor.
Ooc// is my torch not still lit when my blindness wears off? Also wouldn't that perpetual flame sword light back up?

"Please do not light any light yet." Veil calls to the others. "I am going to check the door opposite the one we came in by. If it is unlocked then I can help guide you all out of this chamber." With that said she will move to the opposite door from the one they came in by and check the door for traps and such.
Investigation is a 18 and perception a 14. Both rolled int he game log.

Veil finds the single door on the north wall, directly oposite the double doors they entered the hall through, to be unlocked and untrapped.
She begins to help move her companions through that door.
Those who can see in the dark and are not blind see:
Tiles of the same medium gray color as the marble tiles bordering the mirrored hall floor continue into a narrow hall, only five feet wide. The walls are wood paneled. The hall looks to be only about fifty feet long. Allong the east wall of this corridor are three closed wooden doors. Two of these are closer together, near the middle of the length of the hall. The last one is at the very end of the hall.
Bran turns his head toward his new companions as he hears their voices. “I cannot see yet, either, but will follow where you lead.” He allows himself to be guided out of the hall with the others, still holding his quarterstaff out toward the floor in front of him.
