The huge saurian slid back a little and tilted its head coming down sideways to try and grab the formerly pinned man in its jaws.
Bite.reach 5 ft. Attack: 19 Damage: 7 piercing damage, and the target is grappled (escape DC 12). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and the crocodile can't bite another target.

Thug2 gives out a cry of pain as Frangipani latches on with her powerful jaws, while thug4 becomes a smoldering ruin
Sparhawk, a combat veteran, notices everything in slow motion when combat occurs, sees Vars striking.) "Hey Vars, it's easier to hurt the bad guys when you use a sharp weapon!"
Reginald takes a momemt to pull out his healer's kit and checks Lir over while commenting, "It's been a while Lir, haven't seen you since my training, I have to say your choice of aquaintances has fallen to a poor state.", he says grimly. He observes Lir first to make sure that the elf is aware of him and can see Reginald holding the healer's kit before approaching to help.
(Healers kit is when person goes to zero: This kit is a leather pouch containing bandages, salves, and splints. The kit has ten uses. As an action, you can expend one use of the kit to stabilize a creature that has 0 hit points, without needing to make a Wisdom (Medicine) check.)
"Well, that ended as I expected. Search the two curmudgeons and see whats on em. Then lets clear out. I don't want the fancy rich city guards asking us questions." Sparhawk looks at the group. "That guy got me pretty good." He looks at Reginald, "Who's the elf?"
(We'll move away from the area, perhaps take a short rest for healing)

You find a pouch with 50sp and 253cp between the two thugs. Also each one has a small pin on their shirt collars, almost unnoticeable. The pin is a black spider holding a wrapped fly
(Sparhawk pushes the bodies in the river, if the crocodile moves a bit, otherwise he'll keep his distance, never know when Frangipani may get hungry. He gets everyone moving out of the area, looking for a safer area to take a quick break and recover lost hp.)
Sparhawk looks at the pins, "Part of a gang. I'm hoping we didn't just take out two of the Baron's men."
Reginald responds to Sparhawk's question, "This is Lir, I trained with him when I was with druids along the coast, it's been a few months since I've last seen him."
Looking at the bodies he asks Lir, "Who were these scalliwags?" He then notices the pins and his eyes widen, he issues a curse. Then he tells Sparhawk, "Slavers! We went to easy on these monsters! These pins are the symbols of the very same slaver's who took me as a child!"
He looks in the direction where the others had fled with an predatory gleam in his eye.
"I know, I need a new sword..." Vars says to Sparhawks remark.
Once the thugs are gone or dead, he says,"Well," He proceeds to wipe off his blades and stow them away. "That's my good deed for the day. Lets get on with finding our contact and move on. ...I'd like to get a new sword since this one's finally failing me."

He then pauses, considers the situation and mutters "Another day then, I'll remember those cowards."
Lir slowly stands, nods appreciatively at Sparhawk for interceding.
He looks Reginald for a moment that lasts too long. "Hnh. Don't remember. You."
Lir walks over to the corpses, and nudges the charred corpse of thug4 with his foot.
"Didn't want this. Not to kill. Live long life of suffering."
He produces a scimitar from beneath his parka-like leather armor, and strikes downward slicing off the thug's toasted hand. To the disgust of the onlookers, he plucks the hand and then casually tosses it into the waters of the dock.
"Toll for the sea. She gets her due."
Lir turns and looks at each of his rescuers in turn, head cocked, oddly blackened eyes suspiciously similar to a shark's eyes (Lir has tattooed them with black ink), assessing the party.
"She sent me here. She has a purpose for me. This was meant to happen. Our current flows in the same direction."

(Sparhawk trying to decide if he likes the crock better than the cat....nope, definitely the cat)

(Initiative Reginald, Frangipani,Vars, Bjorn, Sparhawk, thugs, Lir). Vars and Bjorn up
"You know, you could still run if you wanted to," Vars says, preparing his next attack.
Attack: 26 Damage: 9
Attack: 15 Damage: 5 (I added the negative onto this one ;) )
Vars strikes at the thug in Frangipani’s teeth and puts a good slash into his hide as he is struggling

(is it just the chomped guy now?)
Bjorn approaches the crocodile somewhat cautiously with his magic weapons, and claps them against the sides of the restrained thug's head.
Attack with Shadow Blade: 18 for 12 psychic damage
Attack with Pact Weapon: 16 for 5 slashing damage

Cats go Moo!
( not anymore, lol)
Bjorn smashes his weapons against both sides of the thugs head, exploding it like a melon. Leaving the drooping body in the crocodiles mouth.

Lir sniffs the air. "The others. They will tell their betters what happened here. We go?"
