I can't face this damn thing with you between us!!" she turns back to the creature, a little more afraid then she was before.

Garth pulls out his bow and quickly sends an arrow into this thing, it wobbles slightly but continues flying toward you. Salamir jumps up to take a swing at it with his rapier and misses, he had his eyes half closed, he is scared of such a terrifying sight. Javier is scared of it as well, he focuses his mind on it and an invisible hand gives it a push that causes it to wobble slightly, but it continues toward you, about twenty five feet away, up in the air.
Hlin goes running out of the room, joining Tark, screaming as she goes. Belkaria takes stock of the situation, surprised that Hlin fled. She readies her staff.
The creature continues on its trajectory toward you, skeletal arms outstretched, but no attack occurs, it is not close enough.
Round 2 begins! Garth, Salamir and Javier are up!

Salamir curses his feeble attempt to hit it and shakes off his frightened state. Seeing it is too high for his rapier, he darts across the cavern towards the North East wall and the boulder there, staying out of reach of skeletal creature. On the way he pulls out a dagger from his belt with his off hand and hurls it at it.
He then conceals himself behind the boulder.
Movement: Across to the boulder (should be within 30ft as the room is only that) Action: Attack with dagger at range whilst within 20ft: 14 Damage: 8 (piercing) Bonus Action: hide: 20

Javier shakes off the fear and goes at the creature again with his usual spell combo! Mind sliver damage: 6
(dc for shove and mind sliver are 13int and str) “stay together everyone, Hiln we need you!”
(since I won’t be able to post for a while I’d like to give my reaction just in case. If the creature targets me with an attack I’d cast shield only if it would work so 11-15attack roll if the roll is higher to hit or he attacks anyone else I’d like to cast silvery barbs and I’d give advantage to Salamir)

Hlin growls as she shakes off being frighened. She moves back into the room and she begins saying prayer "By Sehanine Moonbow - Twilight Sanctuary" The Emblem of her shield begins to glow and soon motes of light drift out for a 30ft sphere around her that looks like a starry night.
Everyone within 30 ft of Hlin gains temporary health

Everyone around Hlin feels bolstered, their resolve enforced as they face this flying entity, the lights continue to flicker, different colors and the moaning sound emanates from the creature. She prepares for the next round, gets in a guarding stance.
Belkaria steps forward and her thumbs touch together, she moves under the floating cloaked creature with skeletal arms and says a few words, then burning gouts of flame jump from her hands upwards. The cloak is scorched, it looks like if it were a little more, it might catch fire.
The creature continues to float closer, bobbing up and down, moving slower now, approximately 10 feet away.
Round 3, Garth, Salamir and Javier are up! Let me get perception checks from all of you, please.

Finding something odd about this whole situation, Salamir creeps around the boulder to peer into the alcove.
Movement: Around the boulder, still sneaking - Stealth: 19 Perception: 24 (Passive: 17) Action: Ready an attack on anything hostile in the alcove with Booming Blade (will roll for it if it happens).
You hear Tark in the room behind you shrieking in terror, thinking you are all about to be killed and devoured. Garth solidly hits… something. You feel for sure that you would have delivered a killing blow, it was solid, but the creature continues to float above you, it’s cloak is on fire now. Little bits of something fall to the ground below it. Javier gazes up at it, but can’t quite sort it out. But Salamir has an idea that something is fishy here…. he looks over to the alcove, looking for an enemy. He glances up and somehow through the darkened room with flashing lights he notices a line extending forward, a line that the being is traveling along. You bend down and look and the bits that fell from Garth’s strike are little bits of plaster. You put your arm out, stopping the others as you piece this together. The creature continues to move along the path but nearing the end of its line.
All of a sudden, from the northern passageway, you see a small, distracted gnome come walking down, he hasn’t seemed to observe you. He looks up at the being floating above you and puts his hand to his mouth, he looks down and sees all of you, and turns and runs. Salamir as you are looking, you see a small metal handle on the wall, behind a boulder that the gnome was walking toward when he looked up and spotted you. He runs to a little spot near the alcove where there was a small door, extending 3 feet up from the floor, very hard to see. He goes inside and slams the door quickly, and a latch falls into place. The floating creature above you hangs, burning now, made out of plaster and the dark cloak around it continues to burn. The lights in the room stop flickering.
You are all free to act, we are out of initiative.
