Vyranorae sighs. "Not much, for the past... 23 years my only interest has been keeping myself alive. But I do know that it is a broad expanse of universes parallel to our own."
“Did you know that you play an intricate role in other realities? I’ve seen it. Perhaps you should look for more than survival and intimidation, bro. Broski. Comrade.”

After a few minutes of walking and chatting, you arrive. It looks like a standard inner-city house; a green tiles roof, white plaster walls and dark wood accents. A door---the same color as the roof---stands closed in front of you.
(To see who knocks on the door: Vyranorae: 1 Aaron: 2 Eir: 3 Marbin: 4 Mazorn: 5 Aryn: 6 6)

(ooc: Looks like you're up, Marbin! I didn't count Bronyon because there's no such thing as a d7, and we haven't heard from them in a while. So, I'll continue with the 6 of you until we hear from them again!)
Marbin, you step up to the door, and knock three times. A loud crash, followed by a flurry of hurried footsteps come from the inside of the house. The door then opens to reveal an old half-elf with disheveled brown and grey hair. He has a leather apron on with matching gloves, and a pair of glasses with multiple magnifying lens on them. "Hello, sir! I wasn't quite expecting visitors today. What can I do for you? Oh, are you here to pick up the custom Orrery?" He looks back at the rest of you, noticing the others for the first time. "Or are you here in response to my ad about the goblin infestation? Either way, come in, come in!" He steps aside, holding the door wide for you to step inside.

Aryn studies the man inconspicuously, half-hidden behind Mazorn. An aged half-elf, that's unexpected. He's either an inventor of sorts or perhaps a blacksmith, considering the apron. Interesting.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Vyranorae looks at the man from under his hood and looks for any hidden weapons. Perception:9. Assuming he doesn't find anything he walks in nervously. Assuming he does find a hidden weapon he attempts to tackle the man. Athletics: 10
Vyranorae, you don't find any weapons, but you see a few tinkering tools stuffed in his apron's pocket.
"Oh, wonderful!" He steps inside and claps his hands together, leading you into what looks like a parlor. It looks inviting, with warm, cream-colored walls lined with the same wood accents from the exterior of the home. In the middle of the room, there's a leather hide couch behind a wooden table, and there are two wooden rocking chairs on either side of the couch. A few books on magical tinkering and "The Intricacies of Metalworking" lay on the table. "Sit down, and I'll tell you more about what this job entails. I was a little vague in the poster, I'll admit. Anyone want anything to drink? Water, coffee, lemonade, milk?"

Marbin walks in excitedly "Wow! I love your home, the wood finishes remind me of where I live. Could I just get a glass of water please" Marbin sits down, admiring the house, and waits.
«I know that this might sound sudden but what made you post this quest? No one posts a quest about monster exterminations if those monsters aren't bothering them in some way and im sorry if i come out in a rude manner but you dont seem like an fighter type so i assume that you as a kinda of metalworker need s specific type of material that those goblins make dificult to obtain» inquires Eir
"Of course, of course. I'm glad you like it, one of my daughters designed the house for me a couple decades ago." The man rushes out into another room---presumable the kitchen---and you can hear the sounds of bubbles and the pouring of liquid come from the open door. "Well," he yells from the other room, "It's not for me, but for another one of my daughters. You see, she works as a farmer out in the countryside, and a horde of goblins have been camping out in a cave close to her crops and have been eating them all. Occasionally they'll steal a cow or a pig or two." He rushes back into the parlor with a tray with various mismatched cups and saucers piled on top of it. He hands you your drinks and sits down in an empty chair, with a coffee mug in hand. He waits until you finish speaking, Eir, to continue. "Oh, you're fine, I understand the skepticism since it's not my problem directly. And you're right, I myself am not that well versed in fighting, so I can't do it myself, and though my daughter is a very strong woman I don't want to see her get hurt doing this by herself. So I'd much appreciate your help with this." He scratches his head, thinking. "I don't believe I've told you my name. I'm Peotyr Cromivel, and I run a small tinkering and inventions business right here. If you have any questions, please, ask away."
Oh, he’s a family man, thinks Aryn trustingly. ”Exactly how many goblins are we talking, here?” she asks. “And can you guess what type they might be, or what exactly it is they want?”
While walking, Aaron walks alongside Vyrankrae. “What do you know of the multiverse, Vyranorae?”

Eir chuckles after hearing what Aaron said
Dude you must be the most awkward person i ever met
Vyranorae raises his eyebrow at Aaron, "I know not what this... broski is. But what you have said has fascinated me."

Mazorn cautiously entered the house, “yep, we’re here about the goblins.”

"Bkack coffee, no sweeteners please" Vyranorae leans against a wall with his arms crossed.
“I’ll have water, thanks.”
Marbin walks in excitedly "Wow! I love your home, the wood finishes remind me of where I live. Could I just get a glass of water please" Marbin sits down, admiring the house, and waits.
“I’ll have a cup of tea, if you wouldn’t mind.” Aaron says.
