Nuotrin looks at Rubin disappearing through the mirror, and calls out, "Wait!", but they had already disappeared. He runs up to the mirror and studies it, trying to look for anything different. He also picks up the ring.
A sudden change in the carnival's mood cuts the effect of Tasha's mannequin spell - the Calliope music takes an eerie tone, you suddenly were able to see more insects, predominantly flies.
Hazel feels the mood of the fair changing and ask the two new camarades that works here: "Is this normal ? It feels like when bad things happen, the atmosphere of the fair becomes heavier. It is rather strange, does it happen often?".
The mirror feels normal to the touch. Other than the ring, there is no other trace of Rubin or the girl with the pig mask. Whenever Noutrin exits the tent everyone will be recovering from the spell, some maybe still laying down.
Noutrin experiences the carnival change in mood with some somber touches here and there - not completely scary, still more whimsical/cute/fun stuff than dark.
Peppermint slaps her mask on her face with her other hand (she’s still holding Hazels hand with her other hand, as they were on their way to the snails when folks stopped at the mirrors).
She intones, “The Carnival lives and breathes as the guests do, every night is different, some are sad, some happy, some… tragic.” Then she drops the mask and actually giggles.

After Noutrin exited the tent and looked for the rest of the party to regroup or share what he experienced inside. Yoli's was missing...
While Noutrin was inside of the Hall of illusions having a hard time bumping with the mirrors. Yoli walked in full expectantly not only resisting Tasha's spell but conjuring a spell to enhance the chances of finding the halfling that rushed in.
Yoli noticed an aura emanating from some mirrors, this helped to locate those who where normal and empty spaces that would take him to a new area or section in the hall.
Within the first minute he found the halfling is gazing worriedly into a mirror, and a little girl in a pig mask can be seen in the pane, whispering to the halfling’s youthful reflection. As soon as she saw Yoli, the girl dissapeared with Rubin's ring.
"I found him!" Yoli comes out of the maze hand in hand with the halfling, navigating because of the detect magic spell. Some girl with a pig mask disappeared with his ring as soon as I got to them."
Hazel is surprised "Hold on Yoli, a girl with a mask stole the ring ? Peppermint do you know any other girl with a mask working here ?"
She then turns towards the halfling. « At least the poor halfling is safe. Your sweetheart was under a spell, like us. We couldn’t stop laughing… you may have heard stories about the Witch Tasha…anyway, try to forget it and have fun ! »

the halfling looked for his friend and before he could say anything she rushes to say " I do! Rubin! I do!" Rubin and the whole carnival mood lightens up once more " but I lost the ring, I was almost convinced to go somewhere else to get a better ring for you, something less hilarious"
((By the way here's the image of the girl wearing a pig mask))
Andrick looks around the group. ‘I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m not keen to go in there. Girls wearing pig masks in mirrors is a thing of nightmares…’
He thinks for a moment ‘I think we might to speak with Messrs Witch and Light to understand what’s happening…?’
By now we reached the third hour mark, and the carnival's mood is merely happier than when it started.
Both Rubin and Ween will thank you for your help (We are missing Noutrin's explaining that he has the ring but we can move on, you can let us know that you still hold it in your hand and if you want to return it to Rubin then you could do that)
The witchlight hand seemed happier than before but still an overall gloom aura surrounds his monocromatic persona.
As you walk towards the snail race area you can see more people floating in bubbles or riding giant dragonflies. Kids running around and families eating peculiar desserts. The grandstands next to this racecourse are filled with cheering fairgoers ringing bells, swinging rattles, and waving flags. On the starting line, eight giant snails are having their shells scrubbed by pixies.
Above the circular course, a wooden gantry hangs from the branches of a central tree, where two goblins officiate the proceedings. one of them has the ticket puncher ready and screams "Next race is about to start! who's the fastest among you, the bravest! who!? who!?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Hazel smiles at Peppermint. "Yes ! That's sounds fun. Let's go choose one!" She hands out her ticket to the goblin and will look around to check if one snails seems faster than the other (Nature? 21)
By now, Yoli feels that something untoward may happen, so he sends his owl flying high above the racetrack to look for anything suspicious.
Owl's perception: 18
Yoli's owl takes flight and from the top you/the owl gets a very good view of both what's happening with people cheering and those who are ready to meet their mount for the race. Everything seems normal, no one acting out of the ordinary.
From up above you can see the racing track and areas where three pixies wearing the same colors that the snail and jockey they are assisting to get ready for the next race. There are several groups of leafy greens near each snail and many spread along the course, lettuce predominantly.

"Oh hi Peppermint! it seems that you are actually enjoying yourself I hardly imagined I would get that view from you specially in this stand" says as he shakes his hand to send several clumps of mud from his arm. "Very well, over here Lady with the redest hair...what do you say we assign you to Breakneck here!" and takes you to a snail wearing red colors.
From what you were able to tell, the snails have been racing for a while so they all seem be in the same level.
((I'll wait for some other players to let us know if they'll like to participate as well))
Seeing that nothing suspicious seems to be going on, Yoli directs his familiar to keep to the skies, and let him know if they see anyone approach the area from anywhere besides the entrance.
"I'll join! This looks like fun, and certainly not dangerous" With that, Yoli holds out his ticket to one of the goblins and heads over to a snail decked in blue.
Andrick sighs, and steps forward to get his ticket stamped. ‘I guess I need to try something, and they’re not flying, and it’s in daylight with no mirrors…’
He looks carefully around the snails for anything out of sorts…
Peppermint considers, then saunters towards the snails. On the way she approaches Billiam, and leaning in like she’s going to whisper something to him, boops him on the nose instead, gently.
“Boop!” she says.
Then she skips off to the snails. Waving at the goblin, she calls up, “I never realized the Carnival could be so amusing! Give me a snail, but make it a winner!”
