Yoli hog-ties the saboteur, and then rummages through his clothing to see if there's anything on his person that provides any clues as to his identity or what he's up to.
Peppermint pulls out a set of manacles, and oh so gently puts them on the heckler, so as not to shake him to wake him. Then she lets Yoli hogtie him. If he tries before she can, she will stop him, reminding him that sleeping people wake up if you shake them.

ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he). Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. I love it so.
(Still trying to lock the beak close, maybe by placing the cloth around) "Let's go somewhere safe and quiet. Peppermint, you know your way around, can you point us a quiet place so we can have a discussion with beaky here ?"
“Yeah,” Peppermint says, and indicates they should follow her to the backlot, somewhere a little more out of the way. She also messages Rood to let him know where they have relocated to.

(Nuotrin is not that good at moving silently, so he had been watching from a distance.) Nuotrin catches up to the others. "What are we going to do with this guy?"
“Question him, probably with magic,” Peppermint says, “Then they’ll probably enchant him to forget all of this, and spit him out on the Material somewhere random. Or,” she considers, “It’s possible Witch or Light will come to some arrangement and hire him. For all we know this was an audition.”
”In any case, we,” she indicates the gathered persons, “don’t have him for very much longer, so if there’s anything you need out of him, now or never. And I’m not kidding about never.”

« Ok very well, let’s start. » Hazel wakes up the saboter by shaking it.
« Oh yeh, waky woke up ! Time to talk. By the way, we are here far from the patrons and we can use our full powers, so no funny things. We won’t hesitate. First: Who are you and why are you trying. To sabotage the carnival?»

The saboteur wakes up and tries to release from his binds instinctively. But then understands the situation and answers in a mellow male voice "I'll tell you everything, just please listen...Many years ago, I made a fey pact with Zybilna, the archfey who rules the Feywild domain of Prismeer. But recently something is amiss with her. I can't sense my connection with Zybilna anymore. The connection of the witchlight carnival with the feywild is obvious so I've been following the carnival to question the owner's but they won't talk to me."By that time the saboteur drops the spell and you can see her actual appearance
"On my first incurssions into the carnival I overheard a conversation between them (the owners)" she uses her mimicry ability and replicates the sound of both Mister Light and Mister Witch: She starts with Light’s agitated voice “Someone is going to find out about this! They’ll shut us down!” followed by Witch’s calm yet firm reply “We agreed to this pact. Our hands were forced but our eyes were open. We let the Hourglass Coven take what it wants, and in return, we stay in business. That is what you want, right?” she goes back to the mellow voice she's been using so far (and yes she is a female kenku) "So I've been sabotaging the carnival events and attractions until they explain what is going on."
At the word “coven” Peppermint gives an involuntary shudder and takes a few steps away from the group. She puts a hand to her face (mask) and shakes it, muttering to herself. Then she looks up at the kenku. “Oh by the Hells and the Dark Queen, you’re telling us Witch and Light made a deal with hags? You never make a deal with hags. I should know. This is bad.”

"So the owner have made a pact, but we don't know what the hags wants in returns - probably not something good I guess. Could it be why people loose things here ? It also seems that your patron or deity Zybilna have disappeared. Could that be linked to the hags ? Did they get rid of Zybilna ? I am curious now."
Hazel takes her time, that was a lot to take in.She then continues: "By the way, you haven't told us you name Kenku. But I am wondering, if we try to get some answers from the owner, would you help us ?"
"If it’s a coven, it should be three hags, that’s the usual number,” Peppermint interjects. “And whatever Witch and Light got for their deal, they’ll be regretting it by now, that’s always how it goes. We may be able to get them to talk if we say we’ll help.”

Yoli, being up close as this is happening, and proficient with arcana, would like to help with the arcana check

While the rest of the group questions the saboteur, Yoli takes a seat under a tree to rest.
OOC: I'm hoping to get a short rest in, so Yoli can recover a spell slot through arcane recovery
