Overhearing the bartender’s offers to the others, Jess asks for 1 of each kind of drink, places 3 silver on the bar, and then interestedly heads over to the notice board and Drezmir and others. She taps the half-elf on the shoulder and says,
”Excuse me, but I’d like to see those notices as well. I’m looking for… something to do.”

A well-built man with short black hair and silver skin sits next to the Aarakocra. He wears an apron over his clothing and offers a small shaker from his bag to his new neighbor. "You should lighten up, my feathered friend. This should make your meal almost edible." His hand shakes heavily as he holds the shaker out. Turning on his stool to face the room, watches the group congregating around the job board. "You catch more flies with honey, and all that..."
The orc had not cared for his answer. He had motioned for a few of the guards to keep an eye on this one.
The Orc seems grateful by Jess's attitude he gives a nod to retrieve the drinks. Jess however see's something.. Something the others do not. A hooded figure sitting at the bar. A greatsword under the hood. Though Jess can't see their face the angle of their head? Suggest they are staring at this new group as well as the request they had ripped off. Though this person see's that Jess notices. They stand up quickly and rather than subtly leaving? Begin to.. Bolt out of the tavern!
OOC: Can always roll persuasion and such to try and calm the orc but if that's not his style I understand that too ^^ More so a thing to add cause I remember one person told me they were kinda new so this is for everyone to see ^^
"It is with honor that I meet you Drez, my name is Gilded."
Shilow sees Drez glance at the birdman. "Strange, that one. I have yet to encounter an Aarakocra. He has the look of an adventurer, should we incite him to join us?
Whatever response Jess gets from Drez (or lack thereof) she will interrupt it and say in a rush,
"Excuse me, I'll be right back, and if not, please come look for me!"
Following her gut, she rushes out of the tavern after the mysterious hooded figure. This is the most unusual thing that's happened to her in a week and she doesn't want it to just slip by. She wants to keep line of sight on him, at least see which way he's going. Her hand instinctly darts inside her tunic pocket as she follows.
(OOC: He doesn't really care what the bartender thinks of him.)
The Aarakocra was about to say something to this stranger who just offered him some unknown substance to put into his meal, only to notice the hooded figure bolt for the tavern door. Setting the shaker next to his bowl, he quickly spreads his wings, and bolts forward to try to block the figures path. If he succeeds he will say in a smooth, yet cold voice, "Why the hurry? Did something scare you? Or are you in some sort of trouble."

"Well met Gilded." Drezmir gives the Dragonborn's hand a firm shake before releasing it and once more glancing over at the beaked traveler, "Yes...strange...Aarakocra you say..." He trails off after Jess taps him on the shoulder, turning to her direction, "Of course miss..." As she interrupts him, he notices the figure dash out the door, and then Jess run off after him. Slightly surprised, he pauses for a moment, before saying to Glilded, "Should we help her? I think we should help her...be right back." Then he dashes out after Jess, hoping to overtake whomever she just ran after.
The figure on the street keeps running until the magical energy lands upon them. There is a slight pause as they resist

The figure had managed to escape past Aarakocra into the street but not entirely. The Aarakocra was to fast and was ahead of the figure able to talk to them.
"I.."
Something was off with the voice.. It sounded rather feminine. Far ahead of the Dragon Born and the caster she stands to make her attempt to resist the spell. And she..
Breaks through the spell with ease! She kept on booking it across a corner she was able to outpace them except for the Aarakocra.
"I can't trust any of you, you can easily be part of the problem. I can't believe it's a coincende... After everything that happened here and than these new face?!"
She had lightblue hair and bright blue eyes as she stripped her coat off. Drawing her greatsword she appeared to be rather built despite her size. She looked to the bird for answers.
"If you insist on following me.. That means you all know that I figured it out. I'll have to kill you before you can tell everyone else involved.
Her soft features wrinkled into a stern gaze. Despite her harsh words she had not yet attacked only holding her stance instead.
"Now, now, no need to get violent." He replies coolly. Landing a few paces in front of the woman, he continues. "How can I be a part of a problem when I don't even know what that problem is?"
Kocino gives chase. Upon seeing the hooded figure stop and draw it's sword, Kocino slips his hand under his apron and holds his chef's knife, but doesn't remove it from it's sheath. He slows his step and continues creeping forward slowly.
"Of course we should follow." Gilded says to Drez as they both jump from the table and take off out the door behind the hooded figure, the birdman, the woman, and the strange elven (Shadar-Kai). The hooded figure is fast and Gilded can not keep up with his armor, weapons, backpack, etc. But he can follow the bird man that he sees flying above the streets, so he follows that (and everyone else that is following the birdman). As he approaches, he holds back, it seems to be a very intense scene and he doesn't want to make it worse. he looks around to make sure this is not a trap.

A middle aged man arrives in town from the south. He looks a bit out of place, but not unusual precisely. He has a bowl haircut like a friar perhaps, and the linen robes over a hefty torso to match. He looks to be about 5'8" or 5'9". Pretty standard, for a traveling priest perhaps.
But the shield at his side is scratched and dented. And he carries the long handled Warhammer on his belt with familiarity. Those with a keen eye might recognize the sounds and shape of splint armor beneath his robe.
Sloben walks into town, whistling a tune most would find unfamiliar, as he begins his process of looking for work.
Perception to see if he sees any of this hullabaloo with the runner. 12
OOC: She has stopped to talk to the Aarokocra in an alleyway with her sword and guard raised. Just waiting for Corvus's persuasion roll. Though I suppose I could go on his sheet and hit the roll for him in the game log since he already made the persuasive comment RP wise himself?

The woman in Plate slowly lowers her sword as she looks at the Aarokocra's eyes. She leans closely staring to him face to face though she has to peer upward to do so.
"Ahh, I see you really don't know.. Do you? Hmm.. I don't know if I should tell a stranger but... Frankly I've run out of options.
She looks around to see if they have been spotted. Her large doe eyes flutter right before they flutter to the left. She see's.. Jess and raises her blade again

"You, why did you follow us?"
OOC: If you're sneaking on her feel free to roll against her perception if you don't roll against it than you just allow her to see you like Jess here has instead ^^

OOC:
Though no one noticed the hooded figure staring they do all see them bolting out suddenly. Though only Jess has context xD
The figure begins to sprint down the street at full speed with a heavy clank. Whoever they were? They certainly knew how to run!
OOC: Anyone who wants to chase the figure roll Athletics to run after them (Or use anything else that you feel makes sense spells/ability wise ^^
Jess will reach out her arms to the retreating figure in an oddly plaintive gesture as she calls out, "Wait, friend!"
She suffuses those words with magical power as she casts charm person on the mystery man.

Paladin - warforged - orange
Is the hooded lady still running away or has she stopped to talk to the Aarokocra?
If she has stopped to talk then Jess will approach in a calm and nonthreatening way.
If she's still running away then Jess will take note of the direction and then go back inside to her drinks.
OOC: She has stopped to talk to the Aarokocra in an alleyway with her sword and guard raised. Just waiting for Corvus's persuasion roll. Though I suppose I could go on his sheet and hit the roll for him in the game log since he already made the persuasive comment RP wise himself?
