I had wished Clara to defend the window, after having bonfired beneath; taking as much cover as she can, but defending it (thus impeding monsters to enter - and forcing them to take the fire damage each round they come and try to take down poor Clara). Because Khessa would still wish to spare paesants as much as possible... they are almost helpless, in her opinion, against these monsters. She would employ them only as last resort. But if Clara can not for some reason block the eventual monsters trying to come through the window, so be it; OK for the peasants ready to attack - they would be attacked anyway, once the monsters are inside... guess this configures right as 'last resort'.
Oh yes, Clara can be by the window, and she will be there. The peasants are there as well. They are under my control and plenty of them are not about to let you and a couple others fight alone. Imagine it as being the tired village men and women who still have fight in them still.
You control the party member NPCs, but all the others will do what makes sense to me and their limited knowledge.
I hope this is okay, because this is how I plan to DM non-party member NPCs. They are under my control. Think of them as being the 3rd party friendly NPCs you see in games that are controlled by the AI.

Forgot, Demon D will try to claw Khessa at disadvantage. 11, 6 damage. Khessa AC is 19 cause she has some cover via door frame.

I assume Clara's DC would be 13 (8 + proficiency 2? + stat 3?) so all demons should have failed.
Khessa, gritting her teeth to resist the pain of the demon's claws that somehow manage to break some links in the chain mail and hurt her, notices the enemies who, despite Clara's defense, have managed to enter through the window not far away.
"Focus on them!" urges Clara and Aster "Let's sweep them away! The refugees have no defense against them!"
And so...
Clara will bonfire Mini demon F (she will need to stop concentrating on the bonfire beneath the window, letting it disappear... but all the demons headed there have already entered, so this is quite acceptable).
Yes, they did all fail. I just didn't update their HP in that post because I did not yet see the results as you can see the post was not edited at all. I decided to move ahead and let you take your turn.

"Song," Khessa doesn't take her eyes off the demon in front of her (OOC: Mini Demon C)"try to distract it for a moment... if I can land a blow with my blade, we should get rid of that too... Now!"
Then, as soon as the tiefling manouvers to momentarily divert the demon's attention, Khessa delivers a top-down slash, charged with the full weight both of the greatsword's long blade and of the tall fighter's athletic body.
Song will take the help Action to give Khessa advantage on her next attack - and Khessa will do that attack!
(OOC: Great... a 1 and a 2 attacking with advantage! The random number generator really loves Khessa)
But the monster was indeed paying attention to her and dodges easily!
'Great!' thinks Khessa, while trying to raise again her greatsword in guard position to block a most likely incoming counter-attack 'Now, if only I could find a way not to get torn apart in the next few moments...'
