The wood elf looks out among the crowd and with the joyous toot of a his strange brass trumpet “our story begins in this very bar a party of brave adventures were sent off to slay a mighty foe a blue dragon but before setting out on a mission of great risk they sat around a table and had their respective drinks in the group was…”
give a quick description and your thoughts before the mission begins
Red Fred steps into the tavern and heads to the meet with his comrades in arms. He tips is bowler hat at the bar wench as he walks in and takes a walk towards their table. He's 6'-2" and lanky, covered in scales of some sort from neck down including his shoulders down to his hands. He wears a black vest that hangs opens and black pants with knee high boots. A pointed goatee adorns his chin along with a mustache, dark colored but starting with a hint of grey. A few daggers are visible on his person, along with a sheathed wand. His skin color is of course Red. He has a reputation as a fire mage and a hunter of men.
As he walks to the table he will cause a flame dragon to form in the fire place, having it circle around and have flame shoot out of it's mouth towards an imaginary enemy in the burning wood below. Any torches on he wall will also sudden glow brighter as he passes. "So, we are gonna hit this blue huh." He says to his comrades as he drops into his seat.
Can I assume enough cash for spell components? The higher level ones are pricy.
Alend'el Farstrider, known as Alend to his friends if he has any left, lifts his wine with his Mage Hand and sips, watching expressionless and unblinking. Much like the snowy owl perched on his shoulder. Both turn, and Alend nods a silent greeting to his fellow half-elf, Red Fred.
At least this time, no prevarication. No conditions or moral quandries. Just slay the bloody dragon and its allies. Nice and simple. Not so simple to actually turn into reality of course. Likely a death warrant for us, in fact. But at least there would be no lectures afterwards. Can't exile an exile.
The crossguard of the gleaming Rapier, +2 at Alend's hip is a ballista bolt, gruesomely impaling a white dragon wyrmling on each end. Strangely, he wears no armor, but moves with a grace and balance that somehow suggest that he needs none. Something feral flickers in his dark brown eyes.
"Today is a good day. Either the dragon dies. Or we do. Or both." Alend shows his teeth in the lurid approximation of a bright grin.
"Well, let's drink to the dragon dying then. I have no desire to go down yet. Now where is the serving wench, let us order an ale or two." Red will flag a server over and order some drinks
Red Fred reaches into his rather well decked out bag of holding filled with all sorts of components though he was never a very organized person and so he never new what he had and didn’t he just simply reached in and hoped for the best
To the dragon dying, Kekro repeats. You didnt realize he was there, his head barely reaches over the table. You see, or you would see a blue kobold wearing brown cloth pants and nothing on his upper body. Some of his scales have a silvery shine to them. He points to the ballista impaling the wirmling. Just like that He nods exageratedHe is not made of metal, so its fine
"To the dragon dying," Alend repeats, face solemn. Using his real hand for once, instead of his Mage Hand, to lift his wine glass.
Looking to Kekro, who Alend may(?) have noticed from the start due to his 23 Passive Perception, he muses: "Interesting. Most kobolds I have known are dragon-worshippers, not would-be dragon-slayers. It seems you are unique? More power to you, if so."
(OOC: our text colors are pretty similar - let me know if you all think more difference would be better and I can choose a new one.)
“Yes! To the death of the Dragon! It’s blood and guts shall be spilled! Wah ha ha ha!” A second kobold bursts through the door. He is clad in beat up looking armor, and Carries what looks like a small cannon on his back. What could be a grin spreads across his black face, and his green eyes sparkle with glee as he hops up onto a chair next to the other kobold.
“And our hero’s drank the night away in aware of the horrors to come when they wake. And so off they were they found themselves starting in to a strange hallway as they walked the very hairs on the heads stood at least those who had hair as eventually they found three hall ways were would they go”
Red Fred glances at the hallways, taking a look but not yet approaching. "Ahh, so. A choice already. One leads to a mortal duel with Big Blue, while the other two lead to torture and defenestration. So....which way"
Alend volunteers to be lead scout, being a rogue. Despite himself, he smiles at Red Fred's choice of words.
Torture and defenestration indeed... "Could be all three," he murmurs.
He strains his eyes (darkvision), ears and other senses down each passageway, attempting to sense what lies beyond.
(Due to the Reliable Talent for 11th level rogues, Alend's minimum d20 on proficient skills like [Tooltip Not Found] roll is 23, which is also his passive Perception.)
(OOC: could we set up a campaign to join so we can roll on our character sheets and have it visible in the campaign log instead of using the forum roller?)

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
As for if Alend saw Kokro walking in, im gonna leave it to a stealth check: 21
Also in the tavernwhen askes about how kobolds are usually dragon woorshippers: Yes i was but this blue beast treated me like dirty mud but the big silvery dragon bahamas saved me. Now i will get my revenge!
For the hallways, does Kekro remember which way to go or has the great draconic spirit clouded his memory?
{{Alend saw Kekro walk in but i think he would admit it was a decent attempt}}
“Kekro was never allowed this way though the electrical burns on his arms.” the wood elf gestures to his forearms and they glow with an odd energy. he continues “those would forever remind him of the gaurds that helped hold him captive.”
"I see this dragon has hurt you?" The black kobold says to the other kobold, "We shall hurt him more!" Looking down the three possible paths he says, "Well, the middle one would be to easy...and you know what they say! The right path is not the left!"
