Even promoted to the rank of "Masters" and being genuinely intrigued by now, Finna would not jump forward to be the first opening the chest. She looked at Nemean expectedly - whether he liked it or not, but in this case too he would have to be the one to act. On the other hand, legendary tabaxi curiosity had to make him eager to check the treasure anyway.
The chest is halfway full of coins: 160 silver pieces and 120 gold pieces in total. Laying atop the coinage are five malachite gems, two potions of healing, and a spell scroll, the contents of which are illegible to all of the party.
The chest also holds a beautiful longsword in a silver-chased scabbard. The sword is inscribed with the name "Talon" and its hilt is worked in the shape of a bird of prey with outstretched wings.
OOC: Added 32 sp, 24 gp, and a malachite gem to each character's inventory. For Finna and Thulgrim's reference, I split all coinage evenly by default, but if the party ever wants to decide a different split, just let me know.
As for the potions I think it would make sense for Nemean to take one, and Thulgrim take the other since Tochi and Roland have potions already and Finna has her spells.
I guess Nemean will hold onto the scroll at least for now.

Finna definitely did not mind that distribution of treasure, which turned out to be curious but not that terribly exciting for her anyway. It was a pity the scroll turned out to be unreadable. But again - she survived without that kind of magic so far, she will survive without it in the future too. Right now "goblin friend" was a more interesting distraction: "Good work, Droop. You have a gift for treasure hunting, it seems. Would come handy on the road". Then she realized, goblin was not actually invited yet, gave Nemean apologetic shrug and explained to Droop: "Nemean said you might want to join our little group for the trip to the mines".
OOC: Worth noting the wording of the Sneak Attack ability, if Roland wants to take Talon:
Once per turn, you can deal an extra 1d6 damage to one creature you hit with an attack if you have advantage on the attack roll. The attack must use a finesse or a ranged weapon.
"You want...Droop come with? Droop no fighter, but Droop do as Masters want," Droop says in his broken Common. When Finna compliments him, he quite literally pinches himself. "Droop come!"
"Droop still has sword and bow old masters gave him, do not need extra weapons," he tells Roland.
OOC: Yes, I was thinking of using the Longsword in my main hand and a dagger or one of my short swords in the off-hand. Those are light. I meant I can still get the sneak attack once per round if I can land my off-hand attack.
OOC: Unfortunately the main hand has to be light as well. The full wording:
Two-Weapon Fighting
When you take the Attack action and attack with a light melee weapon that you're holding in one hand, you can use a bonus action to attack with a different light melee weapon that you're holding in the other hand. You don't add your ability modifier to the damage of the bonus attack, unless that modifier is negative.
If either weapon has the thrown property, you can throw the weapon, instead of making a melee attack with it.
OOC: Technically, it's the second one - we have a staff for mages/sorcerers, but is sneak attack so critical? I mean, who knows where we would end up, may be you will be happy to have something strong for normal attacks as well :)

“Gladly Droop, thank you for finding this for us. Let’s see what we’ve got!”
Nemean hops down into the rift and opens the chest.

Mechanically, Talon is a +1 longsword.

(OOC: Put on those ogre-strength gauntlets and Roland could use Talon. Or Nemean ...?)
Thulgrim admires the craftmanship of the sword, although his interest lies mainly in weapons of dwarven manufacture.
Hrm, that be a fine blade, even if it nae be dwarf-forged.
How does a red dragon blow out the candles on its birthday cake?
OOC: Yeah, with the Gauntlets of Ogre Strength on, that'd work for Roland if no one else wants for it.
Roland comes up alongside Thulgrim, sharing his interest in the blade. "It looks of excellent make. What a thing to find in that place."

OOC Fine with Thulgrim taking a potion. He doesn't like wizards but he's not above using a magic potion

"If no one minds, I might take the sword. It's a bit heavier than I'm used to, but these gloves should allow me to swing it as easily as a rapier."

OOC: I hate to keep being the bearer of bad news, but a longsword can't be used as an offhand attack because it's not a light weapon.
