Nix completes his original mission, returning to Phandalin to retrieve the Black Spider. Then he steps away from things for a bit, takes a vacation and visits his family in Waterdeep for the first time in a long time. The lose of so many friends at once reminding him that life is finite and not to waste it.
Nemean remains based in his adopted home of Phandalin, he shared his wealth from his adventures generously, sometimes just by buying a round at the tavern, and other more grandiose gestures investing in the people of the region.
He kept Droop on has head custodian, together they worked to restore the fort they had reclaimed from the Redbands. A full wing was devoted to a new medical clinic, with the help of Sister Garaele and blessing of Tymora. The place became a hub for the adventuring class, and secretly functioned as a base of operations for Harper agents in the area. He continued to find excitement and glory by furthering his work with the Harpers which would take him up and down the sword coast.
He remains a close confidant of the Rockseeker clan, and makes frequent visits to the thriving new colony they were building. He and his friend Sildar can at times be seen carting a keg of one of his favorite brews from the inn up to the Dwarves so they can exchange drinks together.
Nemean still keeps a sharp eye out for a shadow above him, and smells the air for any hint of acidity. He has vowed to hunt down the beast Venomfang, and avenge his fallen comrades just as he did against King Grol. But he has not forgotten the final threat the dragon left him with. He knew the full grown Dragon would be strong so he vowed to grow stronger and committed to honing his skills. They hunt one another to this day.
OOC: WOW great job Barty, I had a blast with this character and this campaign. Thanks for sticking it out, and looking forward to the next one! Gambit & Blue, thanks for playing, really enjoyed what you guys brought to the table.
With Nix's help, a very weary Sildar Hallwinter escorts the Black Spider to Neverwinter, where he is tried for his crimes and found guilty. He remains a prisoner of the Lords' Alliance to this day.
The Lords' Alliance, deeply shamed by Iarno Albrek's betrayal as Glasstaff, sends a significant force to Phandalin to assist with the rebuilding of Wave Echo Cave. Under the watchful eye of Gundren and Nundro, the remaining Rockseeker brothers, mining operations are underway within months. True to his word, Gundren divvies up 10% of the profits to all of the adventurers who helped clear the mine of danger.
The profits easily fund Nemean's restoration of Tresendar Manor. The Harpers' presence in the region grows greatly.
Harbin Wester is almost immediately ousted as townmaster of Phandalin. Sildar Hallwinter makes a run for the position himself, but loses in the end to Halia Thornton, the woman that runs the Miner's Exchange. Many never learn of her position in the Zhentarim, but with three of the Sword Coast's factions so prominent in Phandalin, the frontier town receives the sturdy leadership that it so desperately needed.
The Lost Mine of Phandelver has been reclaimed.
