"He has to suffer as the Dreamkin have, watching everything he held dear be ripped from him. See how he suffers now! His kind transgressed, his kind pays the price!"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ruby again questions his words.
”Yet when my companion raised the question of prolonging his suffering you insisted we kill him immediately. I mean no disrespect but you sign two tunes friend.”
You get the sense that the dragon is acting in blind rage, that he is so angry at what Jhaal and the STC has done that it is clouding any judgment or sense of reason.
Belko, one your blade hits the man's neck, blood immediately gushes out and the dragon smashes the rest of the body to the ground. It splatters in a gory squish before the mighty dragon flaps its wings and roars again, before rushing off to the chest, siphoning all of the terrifying mist in the area back into the chest as well, whereupon it slams itself shut once more and locking up tight. From behind the misty remains you see some familiar faces walk toward you: Darnell and Nissa, hugging each other, the lady Yosa Skhalhammer and her children. Finally Balthazar Noh, rubbing his eyes as if coming out of a dream.
"Oh...oh! Oh..."He looks at the mutilated body of Jhaal. "Oh dear. I ... well, I suppose that is the end of that. Come, you can fill me in and we will get you your payments."
And with that we close this story. Please feel free to add an RP post after this if you wish! I'll check it a few more times if you do. But I thank you for sticking through it, and I hope you enjoyed it some!
Belko does his level best to comfort the grieving widow and children......certainly he could have no ulterior motive such as managing the expansive estate until the children are old enough to inherit.....
Ferro will certainly try to acquire one or two more souvenirs from the house before leaving, feeling it’s only his just desserts for the harrowing experience.

You could find a staff of power and a bracer of defense!
Rai had never been comfortable with death. He stares wordlessly at the scene before him, kneeling in front of the dragon as Ferro, Ruby and Belko do their thing. This whole time he can't help but think about the aftermath... how the children and Lady Skhalhammer would go on with their lives afterwards.
He gladly filled Balthazar in on what happened while he was gone, and plans on using the payment to get a new set of tools, or some materials. Whatever the case, he's just glad he has his shop back. But the things he saw, the things he experienced, will never leave his memory. Not for a long time.
(Thanks so much!! This was a lot of fun, thanks for DMing! And everyone else, it was wonderful to play with you!)

Belko stepped forward and raised his blade, though he paused as Ruby spoke....
"He has to suffer as the Dreamkin have, watching everything he held dear be ripped from him. See how he suffers now! His kind transgressed, his kind pays the price!"
Belko slashed his blade across the mans throat....then he hears Ruby ask another question and mutters, " Oops."
Ruby again questions his words.

Those sound valuable! Ferro would sell the staff for sure, carefully looking for the right buyer.
(Dammit!! I missed the end cause I was asleep...)
