Hearing Hourm's description of how to navigate the library, Horkas simply nods his head, waves to the others and says, "Cool! I'm gonna check this place out. See ya for dinner!"And with that simple statement, you see him scrunch up his face in concentration for a few moments, then walk off to the left with purpose and intent.
The artificer decides to find some simple answers first, related to his rea of expertise. This is a simple test of the 'navigation' system of the library. He initially thinks about his temperature cube for drinks and food - the one that will heat or cool beverages. So he thinks about the runes and alchemical compounds needed to interact and cause endothermic and exothermic reactions.
The room Katryl selects is indeed small but comfortable, plain but functional just as she desired.
Hourm doesn't seem to understand thanking the Library but simply states, "Please refrain from acts of violence while in the Library." At the following question the creature moves it's hand dismissively, "No such entity has been here lately."
As soon as Horkas starts to leave and mentions dinner, there is a smell of sumptuous food that suddenly wafts out from the direction of his room, as if the Library heard his desire to eat and reacted accordingly.
When he does set out to find particular information, he can feel the presence of the Library against his mind. (Make a Wisdom check)
"Of course, Hourm!" Khessa assures "The act of giving thanks is not commonly associated with violence".
The blonde arcane warrior, at least, is reassured that Jubilex wasn't here. If she had access to the Library's knowledge, it probably could have become even more dangerous.
The tall adventuress now focuses on the problem at hand... "So, Hourm, we are primarily seeking information on the current invasion of the Demon Lords and in particular how to stop it - and send back it once for all the Demon Lords in the Abyss. From what you told us... If I 'want myself' to a place where this information is, will the Library take me there?" She actually tries to 'will herself' to a place where there is this kind of information. Something happens?
"That will depend on when you are seeking answers. The Library has three sections. Past, Present, Future. The Future is up there," a vague motion above you is given, "the Past down below," again a rather vague gesture is made, "and the Present is around us now. Once you know to when you wish to go, if your will is strong enough you will get there."

Traydark would have a very comfortable and luxuriously furnished quarters, all in classic drow style. His zhentarim servants lacking any real imagination ends up with more simple accomodations.
As Horkas takes off the noble drow gives him a nod. "Until dinner then." He says with a small smile. "I will start my reseach in the part of the library devoted to the past, then moving forward in time once I understand what made the abyssal incursion possible."Traydark explains to the others, then setting out into the great fabled library.
On his way to find information, Traydark is met by a new sight. Two figures approach — a withered drow clad in dark flowing robes, and a hulking gray-skinned monster resembling a spiky humanoid toad, its wide mouth full of razor-sharp teeth. The drow’s pinched and lined face speak to his great age, and his red eyes narrow and appraise you carefully as he approaches. "I am Vizeran DeVir, and this is Kleve. What brings you to the Library?"
Khessa gets rather turned around trying to find such information, if it exists in the library at all. (she can try again or look for something new, or try to find help)
Khessa isn't too disappointed that she failed... It's obvious that the Angels have a stronger will than hers - she could just relax in the room with the foot soldiers and leave the research to the stronger minds, truth to be told... but that's not to be expected from her; she wants to try all she can to give her own contribution.
"Maybe I don't have a will as strong as that of the Angels who accompany me..." the blonde arcane warrior murmurs "...but I will try to make up for it with tenacity!" and, with a light of determination at the bottom of her blue eyes, she then tries to focus on the knowledge that in the future (possibly a near future!) will allow us to stop the threat of the Demon Lords and send them back to the Abyss.

The smell of the food wafting from his room clearly distracts the gnome, who wanders aimlessly for a few minutes as his stomach growls noisily. Giving up, he follows his nose and enjoys a tasty snack!
Finally sated, he sets off again, this time searching for answers in the future section on how they succeeded in ending the demon incursion! (2nd Wis check: 4)
Katryl is a little disconcerted as most of the others seem to wander off on their own pursuits. She looks for Lulu, presuming of course she too hasn't left.
"Maybe we should have coordinated our efforts? At the very least at this point, perhaps it is better that we help each other?" she asks the firbolg. "Traydark is searching the Past. The other two I think stuck to the Present. Do you suppose we'd find anything in the Future? I guess the Future would have the information of how the demons were defeated, right? Or is that asking for trouble?"
(This presumes that Lunaria doesn't just go off by herself of course! Katryl would not just be talking to herself.)
"We will make time for both, then. Tis important to carve out moments for ourselves in times like these. And it's no' every day ye get to visit a mystical library of all-knowing. Though, ye ken," she says, "for the latter ye need only stay some time with a firbolg clan."
When the question is turned around, Lulu smiles, "Touche." She sighs in thought and shifts to lay on her back, staring up at the ceiling. "Tis an easier question to ask than to answer, turns out," she chuckles. The cleric cards a hand up through her white bangs, considering her answer. "I 'spose I would want to ken... what happens after we've crossed the Veil. Maybe that's no' a question should be--or can be--answered, nor one someone with faith should have, but... I'd like to ken they're alright. The loved ones we've lost."
Lulu takes a breath then shakes her head before turning back to Katryl with a sly grin, "Or, perhaps... the recipe for the most delicious pancakes ever graced yer tastebuds."
Lulu, having just exited her room (which she accidentally imagined as a giant riding lizard vivarium rather than sleeping quarters) blinks in equal surprise as their companions all go their separate ways. She arches her white brows at Katryl then shakes her head with a smile. "Aye, love. We should have," she says with a breathy laugh.
Then, of where they themselves should look, the firbolg nods in agreement. "We might as well try. Team Trouble it is, then," she grins. "Let's see what the future holds."

"I am honoured to meet you Vizeran, my name is Traydark Duskryn, I am here to seek answers to what has happened recently in the Underdark." The noble drow says with a graceful bow to the archmage. "Can I humbly ask your view on current events in the Underdark? Would you agree that while demons can be utilized as servants, what is happening now will in time destroy anything for the drow to rule?"He asks tentatively, hoping to find an ally to the expediton's cause.

As Lulu and Katryl set off for the archives of the future, the Library's paths subtlely direct them upward along broad winding paths, almost mimicking the spirals of timeways. Before long though they are confronted by a stone giant, wearing a simple garb, sitting on a flat stone circle in a meditation pose. As you get a bit closer you can see a stone tablet next to them, inscribed with various runes and symbols, some of which look all too familiar. Then you hear a deep but feminine voice speak, "Welcome, what news do you bring? What have you seen?"
Horkas unfortunately gets rather lost as well. Perhaps they can ask for help, or seek it out.

Khessa must be missing something. Perhaps she might find inspiration from the decor of the Library itself. Surely there is something she knows or can use to help her.

Vizeran waits a moment, "I believe this incursion is Lolth's doing, whom I have been working against for centuries now. I suspect Gromph Baenre is also a part of this back in Menzoberranzan. If I were you I would check the Library for any more information, although if you already know some I would also be interested to know."
(It might be a Slaad, maybe, certainly is weird enough)
"Well, me and my companions have travelled the Underdark for some time now and have had several encounters with demons and even some of the Demon Lords themselves. We saw mighty Demogorgon rise from the Darklake, saw The Lady of Rot and Decay in Neverlight Grove and only recently we encountered the Faceless Lord on our way to Gravenhollow." The noble Drow shares. "What do you seek here then, a way to send the Demon Lords back into the Abyss I would hope." He continues with a small smile.
