Thulewyn walks over to Seeker, spinning his hammer that's still on his shoulder. "Ah refreshment is probably warranted, despite my innards lack of cooperation at the moment."
In a quieter voice, "So Seeker, I have a suspicion that nourishment isn't what brings you to Dragon's Rest, or how you obtained the title 'Seeker'. So tell me, what bring you all this way?
I myself am looking for some excitement, see a thing or two on the way if I'm lucky. So if there be something, or someone, you seek, perhaps I maybe of some assistance..."
Medresh considers how much to tell the dwarf and how much to keep back. "I have come seeking answers to a question I recently learned, which is vague but all I can share just now. Among my people, we are often given, or earn, what other races might call a nickname. For us, it is a name that tells about us, our personality, or character, what we like or don't." He pauses then as a deep, rumbling laugh comes out of his mouth.
"I have a cousin, quite beautiful she is as we measure that, who loves candy and anything sweet. Her 'nickname' is not Sweets but Sours, for she acts if she doesn't get enough sweets!" He laughs a bit longer at the memory. "In my case, I like to learn things, to seek after knowledge, so the abbess of my monastery, where I learned my skills, named me Seeker."

Orissa watches as everyone introduces themselves. She's never been one for friends or introductions, so she stayed quiet for a bit. After a few minutes, she decides to step forward.
"My name is Orissa... It's a pleasure to meet you all."

Getting a sullen look about him, Thulewyn says "In my experience, quest for knowledge can he as dangerous as any." Shaking off the the memories that momentarily came over him, he continues "well if you do find yerself in need, I can't promise my availability will last but for now my services are available."
"So of the lot of ya, has any of ye actually been to this Dragon's Rest? Looking for for some suggestions on where one can get a decent meal and drink? Possibly some honest work? Maybe we could seek some information from the captain"

"I'm sorry, I haven't actually been here before, but I'm moving here, so I'll seen know! I can also help you along the way as I also discover the Rest."
Orissa looks to the group, wondering what to reveal and what not to reveal, a battle in her head. 'But what if they are here for the jewels... let's not tell them about the jewels...'
"Oh... Me? Umm.... Sightseeing... I heard there were some wonderful beaches and mountains here... Just had to see for myself! Can't wait to get off this boat and onto solid land so I can see those beaches and mountains.."
Seeker shakes his head. "My first time, but I'd love to explore until we found one. Love seeing new things," says the red-dragonborn. It's not hard to tell the sentiment is genuine, though it also has a bit of a forced quality.
"Aye beaches and mountains, sights to behold I'm sure. Well if you need a hand wondering around upon the solid ground, you won't find better company!
Turning his attention towards the Abaddon: "So we have the sightseer, the homesteader, the grave watcher, and the Seeker. What draws your attention to the Rest, I'm guessing not for a holiday?"
Abaddon turns his cold stare upon the dwarf, he replies "I must cleanse my soul, and make sure Dragon's Rest remains a safe haven for all."
Medresh looks curiously at the brass dragonborn, wondering at the cold and unwelcoming demeanor. He also wonders if the same sort of thing brought Abaddon here that brought him.
"That's an interesting thing to say. Is there some chance it won't remain a safe haven? Also, now that I think about it, how is it a safe haven now?" It is quite evident Seeker's interest is genuine.
"AYE! Now we're getting somewhere. Sounds like there a job to be had there, though I'm guessing it only pays pebbles. Ye wouldn't be looking for a hand or two, would ya, maybe someone more accustomed to talking to folks?"
As the boat slides smoothly up to the small dock, the few sailors on board the relatively small vessel spring to action, tossing ropes overboard and securing the vessel to the dock. The captain of the ship, the Siren's Song, ambles across the deck, smoking a pipe. He's an older human man with more salt in his hair than pepper, and his clothes are somewhat shabby save for his coat, which is long and a luxurious navy blue with gold buttons.
"We've arrived at Stormwreck Isle," he announces to his passengers in a raspy voice. "All ashore!"
A topaz dragonborn, face half wreathed in shadow let a hint of a smile show when he saw the island. Closing his eyes, he remembers his goal to cleanse himself. He lets himself feel a moment of peace and quiet, bathing his scales in warm, welcoming sun, even letting in the smallest hint of a smile. Then, he opens his eyes, returning to his previous vigilant mindset. When the boat finally arrives at the dock, he makes sure that his longsword is still secure in his sheath, he quickly grabs his backpack before stepping onto the dock.

"Well Skipper, a few questions if we may. Where might one fine a decent meal and a bed for the night? Anything other suggestions or warning to a group of folks new to to this part of the world?"
