Under the throne is not the treasure you were expecting as there is a pile of baubles and worthless trinkets. There is also small pouch among the treasure and inside are truffles.
Before they leave and before they untie the two harengon, Valrieth asks them, "For a lawless bandit, your former leader Agdon's 'treasure' seems to be mostly worthless trinkets. We know that he also stole dreams and memories, but we don't see them here. Do you know what Agdon did with the more precious things he stole?"
Val takes a last look at the trinkets to see whether any of the trinkets seem to be related to their quest or the rumors that they've gathered (the alicorn, the bullywugs, the "rule of three.")
Do any of the trinkets catch Val's fancy? Even if they are worthless, Val might like some sort of souvenir of their time in Prismeer if the Trio ever makes it home.
Do any of the trinkets catch Val's fancy? Even if they are worthless, Val might like some sort of souvenir of their time in Prismeer if the Trio ever makes it home.
Valrieth takes one last look through the Agdon's treasures while Finley unties the brigands. At first, it all looks like random trinkets, but then one item catches her eye. It's a tiny statue of a dragonfly with it's wings folded up on top of a flat metal disk for a base.
The disk is only 3 inches across, and there are markings carved or etched around the base of the disk, like a tiny sundial for a pixie. But that's not what caught Val's attention. Val picks it up and turns and tilts it. Despite the fact that it's mid-afternoon, the dragonfly's wings cast no shadow on the face of the dial. Fascinated, Val examines it for a moment, but there's no time to figure out its magic now.
She puts the dragonfly / sundial in her backpack, but thinking of Agdon, she feels a bit uncomfortable. It's one thing to loot the body of a brigand who tried to kill you. But even though she knows that these "treasures" were first stolen by the brigands, taking something with the two harengon tied up nearby makes her feel like a brigand herself. She takes out her tinderbox and leaves it among the pile of trinkets. As she leaves, she tells the harengon brigands, "I took one of the trinkets, but I left you a brand new tinderbox in exchange. As I said before, we're not common thieves. We're taking our leave now, but warn your gang. Do not attempt to follow us or attack us, or you will meet the same fate as the Agdon Longscarf."
Happy to have a souvenir that seems to have some fey magic about it, Val climbs / is air-lifted down with Gan-Re and Finley. Assuming that Gan-Re still prefers to fly, she takes a seat in front of Finley in the boat and starts rowing west toward downfall.
If anyone else wants a trinket, go ahead and pick 1.
Afterwards the Trio paddles towards Downfall. After traveling 1/3rd of the way to Downfall the water levels recedes and drains away. The boat because stuck in the mud. Everything is still wet and now the Trio will need to trudge through the thick mud. It is slow going and counts as difficult terrain. Except for Gan-re who can fly.
Gan-Re will always prefer to fly and flies alongside the rest of the Trio, resting when necessary. Gan-Re is a thief and does takes Tiny book of fairytales, he doesn’t leave anything in return.

"I'm happy to continue on as this doesn’t seem a safe place with water coming and going, but we can rest if you need to."
Valrieth looks over the side of the boat and grimaces at the thick mud, "This looks like the mud from yesterday morning when we first came down into the swamp and met Jebbek. It's miserable to trudge through it."
"It still seems like a long way to Downfall," reasons Val. "We probably won't make it there today. At this point, we should look for a place to camp for the night. If there isn't any high, dry ground nearby, maybe we should just camp here? At least we would have the boat nearby in case there's a flood in the middle of the night."
Maybe Gan-Re could scout ahead a little for a better spot to pitch camp? In the meantime, Val and Finley could try to gather wood for a fire or to make a dry spot to put their bedrolls.
Gan-Re flies off to look for a suitable campsite. Like any good bird he will want a decent perch where he can sleep standing up, alternating between one leg and the next. Ideally in a tree or on a large rock. His friends sleep lying down, which seems most uncomfortable, but he tries to find an area that is dry enough. Maybe they could also sleep in a tree if he tied them in with rope? Maybe Val can ask the water to leave the mud?
Gan-Re offers to take the first watch, so if anything happens at least the others have benefited from a short rest.

As Gan-re flies around in search of a campsite he comes upon this odd building that slowly moves through the swamp. There is smoke coming out of the chimney. It is just over a soggy hill. After a moment the building settles down and stays put.
Gan-Re flies back to report to the others "Errr team, there is a walking house moving around. Do we want to investigate it?” Gan-Re flips through his new book on fairy tales, which unfortunately he takes too literally in the Feywild “Could it be Baba Yaga?”

Finley, now wearing a golden pendant charm shaped like a leprechaun that he grabbed from the pile on their way out and he did not leave anything behind in the pile tugs at his beard, "Ah, well it's possible that it could be th' creature that you're saying. Gan-Re nods "You are probably right. But according to this book they have some powerful magic items. This comb sounds really good, not that I have any use for a comb normally. We could try and sneak in and steal them, but it could be dangerous and we are already tired. Nice charm by the way, does it do anything?"

Valrieth apparently only has a vague recollection of Baba Yaga as a legendary witch or something.
"Maybe houses that move around are a common thing here in Prismeer? With thieves like Agdon Longscarf wandering the swamp, I guess it would be useful for your house to be in a different place every day." Val clearly has brigands on the brain, and ever since the waters receded, she's been worried that the harengon from the Brigands' Tollway might try to attack the Trio in the middle of the night.
"I vote that we investigate the walking house. If the owner of the house is friendly and lets us sleep there tonight, that would certainly be more comfortable than camping in the open swamp. We can take the oars with us, but should we tie the boat to a tree so that it's still here if swamp floods again? The little ice boat that I created worked, but after an hour in it, I my feet and tail felt like they were going to freeze right off. The wooden boat was much more comfortable."
"That sounds like a good idea Val. Did you want to try scouting, using one of your animal forms, or shall I? The squirrel worked well last time. Look out for someone with big metal teeth." Gan-Re puts the oars in the hole
"If ye want to, ah'll stand by if ya need assistance. Ah'm pretty far out of my depth, ah never read any stories about th' fey beyond our mutual friend as it didn't seem important at th' time." Finley nods.

Valrieth thinks for a moment and then says, "I think that we should all stick together for now. The boat isn't going to help us unless the swamp floods again, so why don't you take closer to this moving house? Once we get close, we can decide what to do."
As they walk, Val says, "I think that we should first figure out whether it's really an enchanted house that can move or whether it's some sort of fey creature that just looks like a house so that it can gobble up unwary travelers.
"If it's a house, then some resident of Hither lives inside. We just don't know whether they're like Jingle Jangle or more like Agdon Longscarf. We should knock on the door and ask politely for a place to sleep for the night. If we're lucky, it's a good fey who will let us stay there for the night.
"But you should probably be the one to knock on the door, Gan-Re, since you're the toughest of our Trio. And if something attacks you immediately, you're also the fastest, and the mud won't slow you down. Get away from the house, and Finley and I can cover your retreat from farther away. Then, we'll either find a place on higher ground to make a stand, or we can just run. If Gan-Re can distract the monster for a few seconds, I could transform into a horse and carry Finley away. That's the fastest we're going to get away in this mud."
"Good point Val. I had not considered it could be a monster in Disguise." Gan-Re tries to remember anything about house shaped monsters.
