Akihi was a beautiful town to live in, amazing schools, nice houses, barely any crime, diseases were extremely rare, and there were kind people. Then, the royal family tree ended, so the town needed a new king, after Obolm Slora was elected, disaster struck. Caring individuals who usually donated to towns, weren't selfless anymore, so schools lost their funds. Crimes were rising, even the least expected were committing felonies. A group of rebels decide to form a troop of heroes. Those heroes are you. The rebels theorize that some sort of message is going through all of the villagers head, making them do things they wouldn't usually do, your goal is to find out where these messages came from, and when you do, go undercover and stop it.

-Name: Pescria -Race: Deep Gnome -Class: Monk (flexible on subclass choice) -Backstory (Include how you found out about the rebels): (Folk Hero) Pescria worked as a groundskeeper for some of the nobles in the area, as well as a part time governess for some of the locals who needed the extra help. It was during some of the tutoring sessions that she began to notice the strange happenings and she was in touch with a few others who mentioned they were interested in getting together to investigate the situation. He over heard outside a tavern there was a town having some problems with its rulers and they was looking for people to help put it right. He's always up to help out the little guy and who knows mabe earn some coin

One of his recent set ups put him into contacts with the rebels. He would occasionally trade with them and anyone else who came to him for supplies but kept away until he became aware of the unnatural blight that appear to affect the nearby town.

-Name: Gorge -Race: Earth Genasi -Class: Fighter -Backstory: After what he could only describe as a living nightmare fell upon his village, Gorge fled with nothing but what he was wearing. Traveling from town to town Gorge never could find a place to call home. Between the assumptions made about his heritage, and that hollow sunken look to his eyes, it seemed nobody would ever give him a chance. For those that were kind enough to help him out, the people around always seemed to make trouble and fuss about his presence, so he would always move on as not to be a burden upon those who showed him any kindness.
That was until one day while he came upon a traveling merchant who's cart wheel had busted and was being threatened by a handful of thugs wanting the merchants wears. Gorge assisted the merchant and drove away the would be robbers. The two become friends and the merchants brings Gorge back to him home where he own a sizable farm on the distant outskirts of Akihi. Gorge worked as a farm hand on the merchants farm, and the merchant very clear to the others that if any had a problem with it were free to leave. Years had gone by after that encounter, the merchant teaching Gorge ways of defending himself, ways to backup his intimidating nature. The merchant was one of the first of the rebels and spoke some about them while back at the farm, though never involving any of those at the farm in anything more then conversation.
One day while out putting up new fence posts, they came. Gorge doesn't know who or why they came, but it was obvious who they were after, the merchant. The few men that rode up on Gorge expecting an easy fight were met with the blunt end of Gorge fencing maul. By the time Gorge was able to return to the farm house it was already up in flames. Gorge swore he would do what he could to avenge his friend, the only thing he could think of to do that was to seek out the rebels the merchant spoke so highly about.

She graduated top of her class, and became a teacher at that very school! She was happy with her life. When the new king got instated and the schools lost their funding, the Gregorith School of Magic entirely shut down! She lost her job, she got some of her stuff stolen, and she was angry at it all, but tried to keep her composure, despite most everyone else loosing their kindness and heart! One of the rebels happened to be one of her students, and she was recommended by this rebel for her incredible knowledge and talent with magic. She excepted because she knew that this was the best way to right the wrongs that the new king has done!
