Holding the bag defensively, "Progo will be Progo. Fred can be dear, not Progo." Hesitating for a bit he holds the bag out towards Mara. "Progo keeps good inventory, and doesn't want any damaged goods, hard to sell." Progo watches the rock tosses.
Mara laughs at Progo's joke and takes 11 minutes ritual casting Magic Mouth, then sticking it into Progo's bag to scream in it, "Welcome to the lair of the Thessalhydra! (so it's muffled)"
Then instructing the rock to scream when a creature size small or greater that isn't Mara, Progo, Thalron, Fred or Mara's familiar is 30 feet or closer, she plants it by the cave mouth so that it will detect any traffic.
She proceeds to do so with two other rocks, but just tells them to scream, then leaves them in Progo's bag.
“Mara, it is as you suspected. Although the sword still emanates magic, it is muted. As if it is attuned to that other plane to reveal it’s true power.”
"Sir Moltenaxe, you have been so eager to get rid of this yet I'll take it off from your hands. That is, until you request for it back."
((Even between our non magic users, I see that it's kind of a downgrade with Thalron having Divine Rage and Progo having sneak attack. I'll hold on to it since spell slots are still scarce for me still.
Anyway, are we heading to the cave because we've rested?))
Progo's attention still on his bag, and only half listening to the conversation and misses they are talking about the wand and thinks they are still talking about the sword. "Do you know how to use that thing? Progo know where to hold it and to swing it about but not much else. Progo impressed but still think Thalron is much more used to that kind of... conflict management." Turning back to the cave. "Nothing came or went from there, so either there is another entrance, they are well supplied in there or whatever is in there isn't actually in there."
"Progo will lead you to the creature now, follow Progo and try not to make much noise." Progo draws the raiper and starts to slinking the cave, hugging the west wall as he enters. He watches the ceiling again for falling creatures and objects.
No, nothing came or went.
Picking up a few rocks from the woods, Mara tosses it up and down.
"Mister Progo, would you be a dear and let me borrow your magic bag? Just half an hour, tops, and you'll get it riiiight back."
Holding the bag defensively, "Progo will be Progo. Fred can be dear, not Progo." Hesitating for a bit he holds the bag out towards Mara. "Progo keeps good inventory, and doesn't want any damaged goods, hard to sell." Progo watches the rock tosses.
"We still have magic wand too no?"
Who has the Wand?

Got it. I assume you are now headed back to town now?
"Best look over your sword there, Sir Moltenaxe. Is it still the superior weapon to use?"
Thalron will study the sword. Can he determine if the magic is muted when not upside down.

It has returned back to when you first received it. It is now no more magical or powerful than it was originally.
Just as you suspected: now it is out of the Upsidedown it doesn’t have its extra properties.

Thalron produces the Wand of Magic Missiles from a pocket.
”Would this be better suited in someone else’s hands? I do have these non-magical javelins, if I can’t close the distance immediately.”
