This cave system is much less claustrophobic. You can see that this tunnel is roughly 20 feet wide and 20 feet tall. It continues 60 feet North, then turns to the left.
"Unless anyone's opposed," Mara whispers as she beckons everyone back behind the nearest corner, "One of you can throw a torch, while the rest of us get ready your javelins and bows and other nasty things."
The tip of Mara's finger ignites like the spark of a small lighter (just for dramatic effect), not actually giving a significant source of light other than illuminating a smug smile as it was her idea to use fire at the cave entrance in the first place.
"As a matter of fact...I wouldn't mind facilitating this little party myself."
(Assuming we haven't tried setting the website on fire yet)
Progo is sneaking from rock formation along the cave to the next, not even making a sound that he can hear. Rounding the corner and seeing the spider webs, he thinks how to proceed. He notices that the way north is not blocked by webs. Assuming this creature is as big as it was described, there is no way it could go through those webs without disturbing them. Or it could travel on them, which would mean disturbing them would alert the creature of thier presence. He starts to slinking across the floor to the other cave wall to continue leading the party north he hears Mara say something behind him, turning back he sees the flam and the others getting ready. Whisper yelling Progo says "What are you doing!? What part of sneaky sneaking consists of lighting signal beacons!"
Ooc: Not sure if the "Nothing happens" indicated it was attempted or just nothing going on as they are discussing

You see some medium sized, roughly humanoid shaped bundles wrapped up in the webbing.

About to light the torch, Mara stops, rolls her eyes, then picks up her fan to point it straight at Progo's ear.
Progo responded again in his whisper yell, " And when Progo leads group out of here victorious, Progo expects the same responsibility!" Seeing the humanoid figure, he points at it. "See, spider already have lunch, no bother Progo."
OOC: How far into the webs is the webbed creature?

The next next area opens up. This cave is thick with webs from floor to ceiling.

I took as she’s ready to throw it if something jumps out.

"If you have a better plan, spit it out," the whisper in his ear was crystal clear even though she didn't move her mouth.
"But if this involves handling a big spider--or worse, lots of little ones--I will personally hold you responsible!"
Progo responded again in his whisper yell, " And when Progo leads group out of here victorious, Progo expects the same responsibility!" Seeing the humanoid figure, he points at it. "See, spider already have lunch, no bother Progo."
OOC: How far into the webs is the webbed creature?
Mid way, about 5 feet up.
**Oh, I think I totally forgot! Once you made it out of the Upsidedown, you all are now level 5!!
There are 3 of these bundles. At various heights within the webs.
Fred will try to cut the webbing away from each bundle.
