From what I remember, Kasha suggested you head North, so unless anyone objects, we'll go with that! You all begin to head through the lock, north.
The lock seems to go on forever, just trees and monotone colors in all directions. And all the Flashes are staying away from you too. Talking amongst yourself is the only thing keeping you from losing hope, and its so hard to keep going in the same direction, you doubt you're heading truly north anymore. Hours pass, you see no landmarks, no signs of life, even the ground suddenly seems incredibly flat.
About 13 hours in, after you've stopped and started many times, that's when something finally changes. As you all continue on, the trees seem to be spreading out, and less of them can be seen, the forest thinning.

As far as Moon can see forward, the trees seem to continue to thin, until they disappear almost entirely. But left and right, and especially behind, they stay as frequent as usual.
