Clarac sees the number of enemies remaining and decides that an area-wide effect of her own would be appropriate. She vanishes from the stairs and reappears in the ritual chamber with a flash of light. Her body shines bright with sunlight that burns the wicked ones around her.
OOC:
Action: Activate Holy Nimbus --> 10 radiant damage to every enemy that starts its turn within 30 ft. of Clarac Bonus Action: Cast Misty Step --> landing directly south of the large demon Object Interaction: Take out Holy Avenger
If needed... Initiative: 19 (advantage from Feral Instinct)
Tyekanik agrees with Lord Akkron: "Yes, it is end time for the demon!" He enters a rage, growing to huge size. As soon Lord Akkron's Fireball and Vrox's radiant blast are done, the hulking barbarian charges down the stairs diagonally, heading almost directly for the demon in the northeast corner. (He ends his turn occupying a 15'x15' space just south of the coffin on the north side of the room, probably trampling two of the warlocks on his way there. Tyek takes one swing of his axe at the first blood convert (at the north side of the bottom of the stairs) as he moves. If he hits the blood convert, Tyek also spends a charge of his Blood Fury Tattoo to do additional necrotic damage and heal himself with the energy. Finally, ignoring the blood converts at the northeast, he uses his 15' reach to attack the demon over the convert's head.
Bonus Action: rage, imbuing Annam's Greataxe as his Elemental Cleaver with thunder damage Movement: Move ~30' down the second flight of steps and end Action: Two Reckless Attacks with Annam's Greataxe as his Elemental Cleaver (thunder) Attack 1, blood convert in the NW corner: 25, Damage: 30 (magical thunder) + 15 (force) + 14 (necrotic from tattoo)= 59 (total) Attack 2, blood demon: 34, Damage: 24 (magical thunder) + 22 (force) = 46 (total)
Reaction: If anything hits him, he'll use Stone's Endurance to reduce the damage by 9
With two mighty swings, the axe bites deep into the blood demon, causing it to growl in pain.
Blood convert is moving towards the stairs and approaching Maynard and Vrok
The Duke doesn't know what to do, he looks towards the demon but sees he is engaged with Tyek. He fumbles for his sword and draws it out with a shaking hand.
[[OOC: @Aaggie - what damage type(s) is the Blood Demon doing? Tyek has resistance to resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, slashing, and cold damage. He may also use his Gift of the Chromatic Dragon's Reactive Resistance to gain resistance to some other damage types for one attack or spell.
Also note that Tyek's Ston'e Endurance just reduces damage of just one attack.
For example, assuming that the demon is just doing slashing damage, that would be 2 dmg (22/2 - 9) and 12 dmg (25/2) for a total of 14 dmg. But if some of that damage is fire damage, for example, he would not be resistant to it.
Khessa had rushed towards the Duke, believing him to be the main threat, after the Demon... but seeing his reaction makes her doubt this. In the meantime, the two guards that arrive rain down blows from all sides and one of their blades grazes her skin, eroding part of her mystical defense of the Arcane Ward.
The blonde arcane warrior then decides to eliminate the guards first and directs her Death Lance against them.
[[ OOC: Khessa attacks the guards, starting with the one that hit her and moving on to the other if the original target falls at a certain point. ]]
The two guards that attacked you fall to your feet. The Duke stands before you, and feebly raises his sword, realizing the demon nor his guards can protect him.

Blood convert is moving towards the stairs and approaching Maynard
[[OOC: At the start of round 2, this blood convert has not made it to the landing yet? I'm just checking whether Vrox's and Brother Maynard's ranged attacks will be at disadvantage because this opponent is within 5 ft of them.]]

Vrox: Round 2
[[OOC: after his turn in round 1, Vrox was presumably hidden from the enemies Hide - Stealth37 (using Vanish feature, advantage from Shadowfell Brand Tattoo) ]]
Vrox's Shadowfell Brand Tattoo pulled the shadows around him, hiding him in inky blackness of the alcove. He suddenly steps out onto the platform again and swiftly nocks an arrow to his longbow. Seeing the blood convert heading up the stairs, he [Tooltip Not Found] and fires one arrow at the blood convert, attempting to prevent him from approaching any closer.
Assuming that Aya's Guiding Bolt hit the Blood Demon, Vrox cannot resist the glittering target and fires his second arrow at the demon. He remains standing on the platform in front of Maynard, Lord Akkron, and Aya in case the blood convert breaks free.
Movement: 10' of movement to step out onto the platform and position himself in front of Brother Maynard Bonus Action: Cast spell (LVL 1 slot) Ensnaring Strike Action: Two attacks with Dragon's Wrath Longbow (150/600) Advantage on the first attack (against the blood convert) because Vrox was hidden at the start of his turn. Advantage on the second attack (against the demon) because of Aya's Guiding Bolt. Attack 1 vs. the blood convert who's heading toward Maynard: 36 Damage: 9 (magical piercing) + 9 (radiant) + 3 (psychic) = 19 (total) If this attack hits, the blood convert must make a DC 19 STR saving throw or become restrained by thorny vines. The will take an additional 3 (magical piercing) damage at the start of his next turn from the vines. Attack 2 vs the blood demon: 28 Damage: 15 (magical piercing) + 10 (radiant) + 1 (psychic) = 32 (total)

If this attack hits, the blood convert must make a DC 19 STR saving throw or become restrained by thorny vines.
[[OOC: I don't want to break the dice roller, so just correcting the broken tooltip here.
I should also mention that if the first attack against the blood convert fails, Vrox would forgo the attack (and advantage) for his second attack and instead attack the blood convert with his second attack. In that case, the second attack roll is a 32, which should hit and will hopefully restrain the blood convert.]]

Tyekanik: Round 2
Tyek's rage and endurance and the Blood Fury Tattoo prevent him from taking any damage from the demon's first two attacks. He lets out a wicked laugh and says, "You'll need to do better than that, puny demon." Continuing to ignore his own defense, he attacks recklessly, swinging Annam's Greataxe as though he's trying to chop the demon in half.
Movement: None. Remain in melee with the demon. Action: Two Reckless Attacks with Annam's Greataxe as his Elemental Cleaver (thunder) Attack 1 vs. demon: 24, Damage: 36 (magical thunder) + 11 (force) = 47 (total) Attack 2 vs. demon: 27, Damage: 31 (magical thunder) + 26 (force) = 57 (total) Bonus Action: if either of those attacks was a critical hit or reduced a demon to 0 HP, he makes one extra attack, which I'll post in a follow-up. If neither attack was a critical hit, Tyek uses Mighty Impel to move one of the duke's guards (probably the one farthest to the north, nearest Tyek) to the NW corner of the room, taking him out of the fight for this round. The guard must succeed on a DC 22 STR saving throw to avoid the effect. Free Action: Taunting the demon.
Reaction: The first time that Tyek takes > 10 HP of damage from an attack this round, he'll use his Stone's Endurance to reduce the damage from that attack by 7.

[[OOC: No critical hit. Unless we've somehow already killed the demon, Tyek's bonus action will be using Mighty Impel.]]

Slashing from a great sword-I already subtracted the 9 from the base damage
